TIPS for staying in a capsule hotel!
Capsule hotels, or カプセルホテル (kapuseru hoteru), are a unique type of affordable accommodation in Japan, known for their compact sleeping spaces. Each guest stays in a small, enclosed pod or “capsule” that typically contains just a bed and basic amenities like a light, power outlet, and sometimes a small TV. These capsules are stacked in rows, often two high, and guests share communal bathrooms, lockers for luggage, and sometimes a lounge area.
Capsule hotels were initially designed for business travelers who needed a place to sleep for a night, but they have since become popular with tourists and budget-conscious travelers. They are common in cities like Tokyo and Osaka, where space is at a premium. Capsule hotels are also known for their cleanliness, efficiency, and futuristic vibe, offering an affordable, no-frills sleeping option.

Remember to bring ear plugs AND over ear headphones if you have them, but definitely the ear plugs. Like he said you can hear everything, if people are leaving and arriving or your neighbour snores or alarms… They’re nice and cheap but busy cause of that
300 a day is not true hotels are pretty cheap in tokyo Apa hotel is like 60 – 70euros but hostels with seprate rooms are the best!

Nopee. You can't share with your GF. And they usually have only prn on the tv. i could have gotten you much cheaper accommodation where you could also have met travellers. It's worth doing once for fun, but it's not a good short term solution.
But aren't the beds super short too? Like an average male of 190cm wouldn't fit?
