Road to Hoshinokoyama Forest Park/Kyoto
Roads less taken around Fukuyama and Okayama on the way to Kyoto.
Outdoor activities at the mountain where Emperor Kotoku is said to have stayed to see meteors.
Mount Hoshinoyama, 835 meters above sea level, is said to have been named by Emperor Kotoku, who once stayed there to watch shooting stars. The park also has a variety of outdoor facilities, including an observation deck overlooking Mt. Daisen and the Shikoku Federation, and a campsite. If you want to see the beautiful night sky, we recommend camping or staying overnight in a bungalow. Enjoy a fun time surrounded by abundant nature.
