I went to Umi-Shibaura Station in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. This station, at the end of the Tsurumi Line, is located in the middle of a factory area and is characterized by its unique structure, which prevents you from exiting through the ticket gates. Experience this unique place on a virtual walk. What opens out from the station is a spectacular view of inorganic factories and the Yokohama Bay Bridge. You will be captivated by the extraordinary scenery.
Kaishibaura Station is located on private land owned by Toshiba Energy Systems, and only those involved are prohibited from leaving the station. However, from the platform you can feel as if you are on the ocean, and enjoy the view of the Keihin Industrial Area, canals, and Yokohama Bay Bridge. It is known as the “unexplored station” to railway fans and photography enthusiasts, and is only accessible by train. You can also relax and enjoy the scenery at the adjacent Umishiba Park.
