That Famicom Star Wars game is nuts! I've only seen a bootleg copy and I did not realize the original was actually silver. It's beautiful, congrats on getting one.

Goes retro game hunting, comes back with Laserdiscs and wrestling games. The laserdisc versions of Star Wars were the last releases before the more modern special effects were added (DVD's are the modern versions). Don't know about the Japanese releases but the Western releases go for a pretty penny these days due to being the best way to watch the original trilogy. Fan made DVD's were actually made from the laserdisc versions.
