Wine is something that’s revered around the world. The unique tastes, flavours and delicious palate of each one needs to be experienced. We had the pleasure of exploring the vineyards and winery of Tikveš winery in Kavadarci, Macedonia, the oldest winery in the Balkans. We went on a full winery tour of Tikveš tasting some incredible wine and Macedonian food!

Macedonian wine is celebrated for being some of the best in the world. After a full day exploring Tikveš, it’s safe to say we found Balkan wine heaven here in Macedonia. From the vineyards to micro-locations, we finished off our day with a full Macedonian food tour. Tasting each wine with its food pairing, eating some of the best Macedonian food was the perfect way to end an incredible day. This was some of the best food and wine in Macedonia.
