I've been to MGM Grand many times, but I've never stayed there. The place is too outdated for me. But I like many of their restaurants, Morimoto is one of my favorite places to get dinner!
people will wait in line for the dumbest shit. If i am on vacation the last damn thing i want to do is wait in a line.
Hell no Jay MGM Grand is rough! Lots of riffraff! Stayed in May 2024 for the lazy river pool, they never cleaned our room once, pool was standing room only, and we had half a dozen awkward elevator rides as there was a trans hooker working on our floor. We'd never stay there again
I'm curious to know if you could hear the construction in the morning from the Tropicana site
Like this property. I still remember the first time I stayed there back in the day when the lion head was was over the strip entrance and still the wizard of Oz theme. Stayed a week there and that was too long 😂. Just had an unfortunate situation last time I stayed where there was blood on my bed sheet and they took too long to get it fixed which was at 2am on my first day but they comped everything except the taxes. The stay well rooms are OK. Everytime I've checked the app to see if rates change but doesn't seem to change. Heading out there in November and can't wait 😊

Complaining about long lines at Starbucks is so passé, anyone with common sense orders through the Starbucks mobile app. I did so during my Las Vegas trips in August and a week ago, and never had a wait. 🥰
The MGM Grand is good for families, people that spend a lot of time at the pools and people attending fights and other entertainment events held on site. Otherwise, there are lots of better resorts to stay at, and just visit MGM Grand for some of their restaurants.

I just don’t understand the rewards programs. Why did you have to pay for the room instead of getting it comped? We always get free rooms even though we DON’T go as after as you do and DON’T play a lot? We do pay resort fees which would probably be around the $40 you paid for the room. Anyhow, I’m confused.😮

I have eaten at Nellie's twice and I would say it is mediocre at best. The banana pudding was amazing but their meals I found to be very bland and way overpriced.
I get free offers at the MGM all the time. I like the room, the pool, the little bar that has live music where u can also dance, and the casino
During one of my stays at MGM grand, I accidentally got off at the wrong floor and there was a playboy audition in the elevator lobby. Probably my favourite place I’ve stayed in Vegas as I always seem to get amazing sleep there
I used to call mgm the hotel for the common man when I first started going to Vegas, you can get a room at MGM for a decent price and u had a bit of everything condo, luxurious kind of approachable, kind of a party vibe and kind of classy it went so down hill once they started tryin to cater to the high rollers prices are ridiculous now
I quit the MGM in 2005. Tiny rooms, too big of a property and basically a rip off. But thanks for the video. Some things never change, same for New York, New York.

I loved the MGM Grand! 23 years ago, I used to visit Las Vegas once a month and stay in the Celebrity and Hollywood Suites; I loved those whirlpool tubs! I remember Studio 54 and The Studio Cafe (they had a Spinach-Artichoke dip that was TO DIE FOR. Studio Walk was fun as they had a live television survey in progress everyday.
