AGGRESSIVE SUMMER STORM IN SWITZERLAND
Lauterbrunnen is a picturesque valley and village in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, located in the heart of the Bernese Alps. It is known for its spectacular natural scenery, impressive waterfalls and access to some of the most beautiful mountain trails in the world. Here are some important facts about Lauterbrunnen:
– The Lauterbrunnen Valley** is one of the deepest glacial valleys in Switzerland, surrounded by rocky slopes that rise vertically to over 300 meters.
– The valley is famous for 72 waterfalls that flow from the steep cliffs. The most famous of these is Staubbach Falls, which falls from a height of 297 meters and is one of the highest waterfalls in Europe.
