WE SURPRISED OUR KIDS WITH A TRIP TO HONG KONG DISNEYLAND!!

Special thanks to Ritz Carlton Hong Kong for hosting our family’s stay in Hong Kong : https://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/hotels/hkgkw-the-ritz-carlton-hong-kong/overview/

We surprised the kids with a magical trip to Hong Kong, and this adventure was beyond anything we could have imagined! ✨ From the moment we landed, we were blown away by the incredible cityscape, the towering buildings, and, of course, our stay at the hotel, which had the tallest pool in the world, the Ritz-Carlton. We stayed on the 107th floor, but that wasn’t even the craziest part — the gym and the pool were on the 118th floor, making it the tallest pool in the entire world! Swimming there felt surreal, with mirrors on the ceiling and views that made you feel like you were flying.

We’ll be honest — heights aren’t exactly our favorite, but this stay was something we’ll never forget. The kids were in awe, especially when we walked into our beautiful room and were greeted with traditional milk tea. It was these small touches, the hospitality, and the stunning views that made our stay at the Ritz-Carlton so memorable. Dorothy, Manilla, and Cali were mesmerized by every detail, and it was such a special moment for our family to experience together.

Of course, we couldn’t visit Hong Kong without stopping by Hong Kong Disneyland! 🏰 The kids had no idea we were taking them there, and we couldn’t wait to see their faces when we revealed the big surprise. In the morning, we asked them, “Do you want to keep sleeping or go to Hong Kong Disneyland?” Needless to say, it didn’t take much convincing — they were ready to go in an instant!

Hong Kong Disneyland was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, the park felt like pure magic. The rain might have scared off some of the crowds, but that just meant more Disney magic for us! We explored everything from the iconic castle — inspired by over 14 different Disney princesses — to our favorite rides like Jungle Cruise and RC Racer. We’ve been to other Disney parks around the world, but this one just felt different. It was smaller, yes, but it was also more intimate, and the rides were incredibly unique. The kids’ favorite was the Jungle Cruise, which felt so different from the ones in Disneyland and Disney World. And we have to say, their version of Haunted Mansion was so fun! Instead of being spooky, it was more lighthearted, which made it perfect for the whole family.

The day at Disneyland was full of laughter, smiles, and memories we’ll hold onto forever. Cali, in particular, was so brave on the rides, and seeing the joy on Dorothy and Manilla’s faces as we explored the park made it all worth it. Every time we finished a ride, we all said, “That was the best one!” It’s honestly hard to pick a favorite, but the park itself definitely left a lasting impression on us.

As parents, we feel so lucky to be able to share these experiences with our kids. Watching them grow, learn, and explore the world is one of the greatest gifts we could ever ask for. Whether it was staying at the world’s tallest hotel, enjoying a dim sum cooking class, or embracing the magic of Disney, this trip to Hong Kong was a beautiful reminder of how much there is to see and do together as a family.

We hope you enjoy coming along on this adventure with us. We’re so grateful for the chance to experience the world as a family, and we’re constantly reminded how special these moments are. Thank you, Hong Kong, for the unforgettable memories and the endless hospitality. We can’t wait for the next adventure! 🌏💛

  4. Hold your teeth!
I loved the hotel with the view of the city, but I don't understand the simple clothes they are wearing.
Do they want to be the Fat Family, just to make a video? lol😄

  5. HK Disneyland is the only one I've been to and I'vebeen a couple of times. Pity you drove as going on the Disney themed train is also a great experience. My son-in-law grew up in HK until he was 10 when they moved to Australia and when they got married they were married here in Sydney and then a week or so later we all went to HK to celebrate the wedding with his extended family. There is so much to see and experience there and we had a great time. Loking forware to another trip there if we can some time in the future.
Your kids are so lucky getting to experience so many different places and cultures. It really is great for them and their life education to experience all the different cultures. Love watching your videos and watching the kids growing and getting along so well. Keep up the great work.

  6. I loved Hong Kong Disneyland! It would have been so much more fun though, if I had been with a group who appreciated it. Our family group was not "into it" which left me having my own dance parties! 😉 (Which I did, by the way!)
