  1. As an Australian, I have to apologise for the price of food here. Our wages are quite high, which means all food is very expensive. We rarely go out any more because of the cost.

  2. The food court where Momoji is located was one of my go to lunch time venues. It is reasonably priced for Sydney CBD (yes Sydney it is pricey). Just a stones throw away from Town Hall station.

  3. Welcome back, Shinichi! Australia is very expensive. Hope you enjoy your trip and exploring other cuisines in your budget.

  4. japanese food here in Australia is very expensive. It is also often either really bad, or some over complicated reimagining of it (like quinoa gyoza)… often doesn't have that Japanese vibe either. there are some great cafes in Melbourne though .. oh and a few places to get snacks, groceries and canned coffee. let me know if you're doing Melbourne

  5. I'm so glad you found some authentic tasting Japanese food to enjoy in Sydney, Shinichi. I always think it speaks volumes about a food scene when one can find non-native cuisines done well. I love that you introduced us to local YouTubers Tee and Phoebe. I'll check out their channels for sure. Love you. 💜

  6. Welcome back to Sydney. Two places I can recommend is Origami Cafe located Flinders St in Darlinghurst. Simple bit good Japanese. The lady is nice. Secondly, on the north shore Ken-chan Curry,Neutral Bay has great curry.

  7. Oh thank you so much Shinichi, this was a great video to watch and so much delicious looking food and so exciting that it was so good in a different place than Japan. Have a great day, sending love and hugs, bye!! 💜💜💜💜💜

  8. That tempura looks so stodgy , "japanese"places can be so disappointing due to the lack of skill and care which is cultural and mostly not imported .

  9. Japanese is only one of many authentic cuisines in Sydney…. you can find the best in most of Asian and European foods here….. hope you + Satoshi can stay longer next time

  10. I am in Melbourne, I love Japanese restaurants here but never been to Sydney to try it out. Thank you for this video guys, the food looks incredible. Love the strawberry sando it looks really yummy, I need to try one of those out here.

  11. Great video I really enjoyed watching it, you should come to Melbourne next time you’re in Australia experience our food culture , theatre scene and everything Melbourne has to offer that is different to Sydney in our multi cultural city and surrounding suburbs.

  12. I hope you enjoyed visiting my hometown Shinichi!! You're showing me eateries I didn't know before. Itadakimasu!!!
