熊野古道は和歌山、三重、大阪、京都にまたがる全長1000kmにおよぶ巡礼の道。
約2000年前に本宮が祭られて以来、平安時代中期から鎌倉時代にかけて参詣道として発達しました。本宮・新宮・那智を結ぶ熊野三山信仰として、貴族から庶民まで男女問わず多くの参拝者がこの地を訪れました。
動画では「大門坂」から「那智の滝」をルートを紹介。熊野那智大社を始め、青岸渡寺、三重塔などの見どころを巡ります。
熊野のシンボル「八咫烏（やたがらす）」は3本足のカラスで、日本神話において、神武天皇を熊野から奈良まで道案内した導きの神です。

The Kumano Kodo is a pilgrimage route spanning 1,000 km across Wakayama, Mie, Osaka and Kyoto.
Since Hongu was enshrined about 2,000 years ago, it developed as a pilgrimage route from the mid-Heian period to the Kamakura period. Many worshippers, both men and women, from aristocrats to commoners, visited this area as a faith in the Kumano Sanzan, which connects Hongu, Shingu and Nachi.
The video introduces the route from “Daimonzaka” to “Nachi Falls”. It tours the sights such as Kumano Nachi Taisha, Seiganto-ji Temple and the three-story pagoda.
The symbol of Kumano, the Yatagarasu, is a three-legged crow, and in Japanese mythology, it is the guiding deity that guided Emperor Jimmu from Kumano to Nara.
