Kamikochi is a wonderful mountain resort in the Japanese Alps & the beautiful Azusa River of Nagano Prefecture.
Follow our 4 hour river walk in this 23 minute video to see monkeys & beautiful scenery.
Starting from the Hotel Shirakabaso we will go in a figure of 8 in the evening & the following morning down to the Taisho Pond with views of mountains & Yake Dake Volcano across the river back up to the hotel next to the Kappa-Bashi Bridge, Then up river to the Hodaka Shrine Okumiya across the next bridge back down through the woods.
