The Makuhari Messe (幕張メッセ) is a dome-shaped hall that can be used for various purposes from concerts, ceremonies and gatherings to sporting events, exhibitions, and lectures. It can accommodate up to 9,000 people. There are excellent train services from Tokyo (30 minutes) or 12 minutes from Soga Station to Kaihin Makuhari Station on the JR Keiyo Line. Alternately, you can take the JR Sobu Line to Makuhari Hongo Station. and there are a number of other hotels within walking distance.
