In this issue, we introduce the “15th Minato Mirai Dai Bon Odori”!
On Saturday, August 17, 2024, the 15th Minato Mirai Bon Odori, a summer festival representing the Minato Mirai area, was held at Rinko Park.
This traditional summer festival is held in a perfect location overlooking the Port of Yokohama. Familiar Bon Odori are performed, including the local Ondo dance.
Unfortunately, the first day of the two-day festival was canceled this year due to the approach of typhoon No. 7, but today, the second day, Bon Odori was held under clear skies! Please come and watch the “Minato Mirai Grand Bon Dance,” a summer tradition in the Minato Mirai 21 district, while enjoying the pleasant sea breeze.
