  2. The “Leitz” camera is pronounced “Lights” and “Leica” is “Lie-ka”. The device that looked like a stove is a projector that used a burner for a flame as a light source. That’s why it looks like a stove. Thanks for the tour! Wasn’t aware the museum existed. Now have to do a road trip!! My great grandfather was a professional photographer in Halifax, VA. In the 1800s.
