HOKKAIDO SAPPORO to ASAHIKAWA: The Limited Express LILAC in Heavy Snow

I took the limited express Lilac from Sapporo to Asahikawa. Seats were reserved online and tickets were issued on the day at a ticket vending machine. The trip to Asahikawa took about 1.5 hours.　Asahikawa starts snowing around November. Penguin Walk is only held during the snow season from late December to mid-March every year. It is held twice a day at 11:00 and 14:30. But the timing of the event depends on snow conditions, so please check the official website for details.
