How to use TAKKYUBIN 🧳 Luggage Sending Service in Japan (Takuhaibin / Ta-Q-bin)
Complete guide to using Takkyubin, the luggage forwarding service in Japan, including how to fill in the form, where to send luggage from, how long it takes and how the prices work.
Takkyubin (also known as Takuhaibin and Ta-Q-Bin) is a convenient suitcase delivery service in Japan. You can send your baggage from/to the airport and between hotels – or have it sent to the nearest Yamato delivery office to pick up (you can find their offices on Google Maps). You can send luggage from most hotel front desks, convenience stores and Yamato Transport offices. For most locations, it arrives the next day, but for longer journeys (like ours in the video!) it can take two days. There are same day services from the airport to some locations. And you can pay extra for a faster, premium service. The price depends on the suitcase size and the length of the journey. You can expect it to be a few thousand yen per piece. See what it’s like in the video – where we sent our suitcases from Kumamoto to Tokyo, including how to fill in the form and picking up our baggage at the hotel in Tokyo.
