One of my biggest tips for visiting Japan is to leave room for wandering and making mistakes. Nothing went as planned in this vlog. And let me tell you, I researched and double-checked all my notes, and still… well, you’ll see.
Regardless, this vlog is a great example of how some of the best travel days can come from mistakes and being open to pivoting from a well-manicured schedule.

Hi friends! I hope you enjoy this new Tokyo travel vlog. 🙂 It was filmed back in May during Golden Week. Golden Week is a series of back-to-back holidays that land at the end of April and the beginning of May. I usually recommend avoiding this week since many places close or have weird hours during the week. It’s also a busier travel time since most people in Japan have the week off. I hope this info helps you plan your future trip to Japan!
