Expo’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka | HOT SUMMER 2024
In this video about Expo’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka, I will take everyone to visit a very large park in Osaka, this park was built to commemorate the Expo’70 World Exhibitive – Expo’70 Commemorative Park. This is an important international event that took place in Osaka in 1970. This was the first World Exhibition held in Japan and attracted millions of visitors from all over the world. The theme of the exhibition was “Progress and Harmony for Humanity”. After the exhibition ended, the exhibition site was converted into a park to commemorate the exhibition as well as to serve the community.
One of the most famous symbols of Expo’70, designed by artist Taro Okamoto. This tower has three suns representing the past, present, and future. Inside the park, there are many places for people to check in such as the rose garden, lotus pond, and beautiful traditional garden with rich natural landscapes, ponds, bridges, sunflower field and pavilions imbued with Japanese culture.
Especially in the summer, it will be colorful from the sunflower fields, rose gardens and fragrant lotus ponds. So if you have the opportunity to come to Japan in the summer, you must definitely visit Expo’70 Commemorative Park 😊
