Exploring Tacloban, Philippines

I had a full day to explore Tacloban, and I was lucky because I was also meeting up with a friend that I had not met in over 20 years. Neil and his wife, Delia, took me out and around the city showing me the sights, from the Madonna of Japan, to Imelda Marcos Museum, both places that they had never been to before in the years that they have lived in Tacloban.

Neil invited me to stay at their home, which is set in a Filipino village called Knightsbridge. It was interesting seeing normal life for these people and I was welcomed in.
