24 Hours in Taipei, Taiwan. #taipei #taiwan
I decided to spend an entire day exploring the vibrant capital of Taiwan on my way to Bangkok, thanks to scoring a fantastic business class award flight for just 30,000 points from San Francisco to Taipei (check out my previous reel for the booking details).
What I loved about Taipei: the mouthwatering local food, bustling night markets, its sleek, modern vibe, and proximity to beautiful landscapes like Elephant Mountain.
When traveling to Southeast Asia, I usually fly into Tokyo since it’s my favorite city and I love spending a few days there before moving on. However, that route typically adds another six-hour flight to Bangkok or nearby destinations. Opting for a direct route to Taipei allowed me to enjoy a full night’s rest during the flight, a full day of exploring, and then an easy three-hour flight to Bangkok.
