   I think Princess is test marketing the higher prices to see if people with still buy the premiere or plus at a higher price point.

   Please state the total added price for the packages per specific cruise. For example $600 10-day etc. I still pay less than package price charging everything extra a la carte.

   Remember safety is number one on a ship. Keep your hand on the rail and watch your step❤🎉

   Does the Princess travel insurance go up if the Plus or Premier is bought aboard ship? If I were to book the Plus or Premier right now before my March '25 cruise, I would pay another 9% or so in travel insurance.

   Another reason to not buy Plus or Premier. I am a diabetic and I don't drink. Coffee in the buffet and tea are fine with me. The web site should be run from one location, so they should be able to test and roll out on a specific day. Maybe they are testing to see what people are willing to pay!

   We never buy the packages. Can’t make the math come out. Always spend less.

   Someone told me that the price for insurance is higher if you buy a package before you get on the ship.

   You can use onboard credit to pay for the packages if you wait until you are on board.

   It seems logical to me the both Plus and Premier would have a higher price per day for a shorter cruise than for a longer cruise. Premier includes two specialty dining nights regardless of cruise length and Plus includes two casual dining nights regardless of cruise length. When you ammortize those dinings over the length of the cruise, it would make the value of either package higher for a shorter cruise than for a longer cruise.

    If you cruise RC the prices for the drink packages are all over the place and….they will offer reduced prices randomly.

    Only pro for booking premier or plus pkg onboard is that you don't pay insurance on the pkg. However, this is a two-sided coin. If something happens and your cruise is cut short for whatever reason, your pkg is not insured.

    I priced an Alaska cruise from Seattle on Princess with the plus package and HAL with the comparable All In package. Princess was $1000.00 more. What are they doing? HAL also has a better itinerary.

    I was on the website today, I have several bookings. When I try to access the bookings to pay, add air, or excursions, it says I have to call. I don't want to have to keep calling. Did you say that WIFI can't be purchased separately? I booked a cruise today the package was 1000. extra, I would only use the tips and WIFI, the package isn't worth it.

    Any company who is constantly trying to upsell the you does not think of you a individual with worth, they think of you as a revenue stream to be squeezed until there is nothing left When they tell you who they are, believe them.

    I wonder if they are going to take a page out if Royal Caribbean's book with the plus and premiere package? RC has "Dynamic Pricing".
    Depending on what Ship/Sail date/Itinerary/Length etc. Controls how much everything is from your drinks package, shore excursions, tickets to perfect day and so on.
    I have to admit, I know I want a package, and I'm tempted to add it now, the only reason for me not to is for the loop hole of booking dining.
    I can't book dining until my cruise is paid in full, but if I add the package I'll have to finish paying a higher amount before booking dining, if I wait until after I pay in full, I can book my dining, then add the package on later…. Oh the "first world" problems we face! 😂

    If you purchase the package before the cruise the value of the cruise goes up, and so does the taxes. This also raises the cost of the insurance if you purchase insurance through Princess. We just wait to get the package until we are on the ship.

    The new packages only started last summer. One year ago. I really hope they don’t raise them. Plus is one of the reasons I like Princess best.. I search for deals that include plus.

    Some are drunk and try to recreate the bow scene from TITANIC most ships have further block the area. But as you said some people just feel the block is a challenge

    Do you think higher prices may be geared to “spring break / holiday” that have heavier drinkers. I add plus after my 2nd payment since I often get insurance and they base insurance price on booking price
