As a tour operator in Korea, I and my partners are conducting a regular tour for foreign tourists to travel around the boarder lines from the West to the East part of Korea and Ganhwa is one of the deatinations. Loved to see Gyodong island! Check out Yeonpyeong Island as well(it is part of Incheon though) if you have time. Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful experience in Korea, especially rural parts which ate not shown often. I am truely enjoying your contents and hope your journey in Korea will continue with full of joy. Most of all, eat good Korean food and stay healthy!

    17:08 not being able to find a restaurant that is open later is not a problem in south korea – even the smallest towns have restaurants that are open late into the night

    Get Kakao Map for cycling navigation. I like Naver Map for driving better because of their UI, voice, and other things but Kakao map definitely works better for cycling around Korea. (I just don't like how Kakao fails in important things like security/privacy. They were on the news about it leaking out personal info LOL… )

    When you enter after running Naver Maps, it is the default map. You have to select the car-shaped navigation from the bottom menu. And you can select the area you want and press the start button. If you choose the means of transportation as a bicycle in the option, you can avoid the car-only road and guide the bicycle-only road first. This content is based on Android, so I think the UI of the Apple phone may be a little different, but it's probably similar.😊

    Korean cafes always seem to be decorated so nicely. In North America, businesses want your money and for you to leave quickly so they don't tend to design like that, whereas Korean cafes make it comfortable so you would want to relax and hang out.

    Also, I thought it's too funny the market door said push when you had to pull 😅

    Now that I see you eating the fish/bean paste snack, I'm reminded of tasty Korean ice cream! Samanco and Melona are so good, especially ube flavour. If you can't find bingsu, they will do in a pinch 😊

    Naver Maps does not support bike navigation. Use Kakao Maps.
