Each manhole features a unique design, showcasing Pikachu and various Pokémon in relation to popular tourist spots like Minato Park, Nihon Maru Memorial Park, Akarenga Park, and Yokohama Marine Tower. These charming additions were generously donated by The Pokémon Company to promote the upcoming Pokémon World Championships 2023, making Yokohama the first city in Asia to host this prestigious event.
