Maui has so much amazing food, it is hard to narrow down my favorite bites! We spent 10 days on this tropical island paradise and we ate & drank our way around Wailea, Kaanapali, Napili, Paia, Lahaina and Hana. Here I am sharing my favorite restaurants, snacks, dishes, cocktails–from breakfast to lunch to dinner.

Some of the places I highlight: Aloha Mixed Plate, Ka’ana Kitchen in Andaz Maui, Sea House Restaurant at Napili Kai, Coconut Glen’s, Flatbread Company, Thai Food by Pranee, Mama’s Fish House, Luana & Ko at the Fairmont Kea Lani, Down the Hatch & Ferraro’s at Four Seasons Maui

  1. I live on Maui. Food is not good and overpriced-they rip tourists off charging an arm and leg for mediocre food that would cost 3 times less on the mainland…that's why most tourists head to Costco and Whole Foods as soon as they arrive, and buy groceries. Flatbread in Paia is the only good place, and reasonably prices, everything else, even food trucks, are overpriced crap.

  2. 1st do you live in Maui? How about Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar, Pacific'O Restaurant, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co .Roy’s and don’t forget The Hula Grill?

  3. Completely unrealistic. Lilly white aristocratic reality for tourists which need to be demoted not promoted.

  4. Nice that you gave Pawnee in Hana a plug. I've known her for almost 30 years, nice lady. Food trucks at Costco near the airport should mention Thai Mee Up award winning Thai food(DD&D featured).
