The next stop on our Malaysia tour is in the Cameron Highlands. This area is famous for several things including strawberry farms, hiking and most surprisingly of all (at least for me) tea and scones. As this was the case, we set out to find the best tea and scones that Malaysia had to offer. What nobody told me though was that it would take 6 hours of hiking to accomplish this.
We stayed in the main town of the Cameron Highlands called Tanah Rata. If you come here, you can choose to do a number of hiking trails to take in the beautiful scenery and vast landscapes. We chose to do trail 6 and trail 10 and we were not left disappointed.
Unfortunately for us, we didn’t manage to do the main attraction of the Cameron Highlands, the Mossy Forest. This was due to the fact that some bloke had rented the place out for a function, so it was closed to the public. The fact that someone can rent out the oldest forest in Malaysia is ludicrous to me, but hey, we tried.
We left the Cameron Highlands wishing that we could have stayed a bit longer. This is especially true when you factor in the temperature, which was in the low 20s. Not sweating every day was a huge relief and I missed it as soon as we left…

8:09 we used to have Tesco in Malaysia as well as in Thailand, but in 2020 they exited and sold its Asia businesses to Thailand's Lotuss. If you see any Lotuss in Malaysia, they're actually the Tesco before they changed the name.
What a wonderful video. Hope that you guys have had a good time in Cameron Highlands.
Have a great adventure in CH
