How to navigate Osaka using Navitime/Japan Travel app

How to Navigate Osaka? 🤔
Unlike in Tokyo where Google Maps is enough for navigation because it shows the travel time, fare, stops and station codes, Osaka Google Maps only shows the travel time, stops and fare but doesn’t show you the station codes.

Station codes help you to remember and navigate the trains without memorizing the station’s full name.

✅ This is why I also recommend using Navitime/Japan Travel app together with Google Maps when in Osaka.

Navitime is also helpful if you have Tourist passes to see if that route is covered. Ex. JR Pass, Hankyu Tourist Pass, etc.
