It’s not like we’ve never had Kobe beef before, anyway. Jos is the kind of planner who schedules things down to the minute, but not so fantastic when things change suddenly. There were a couple of misalignments, but isn’t it how you handle them? These sorts of unexpected cancellations, closures, and changes let us be a bit more free on this day, and sometimes great things can come out of that. While we would have liked to have tried the Kobe fish market cafeteria, it doesn’t hold a candle to the serendipitous encounter with the long-running ohagi manufacturer, which may well be a dying art.

do you ever have those days that just fall apart when you travel Japan day 17 was like that for us we thought we were so organized with a hunching tourist PA traveling from Osaka to Kobe but we got lost looking for this super famous coob pudding and it turned out tasting exactly like every other pudding in Japan we had to back check to go to the coob fish market cafeteria for lunch which is a hidden gym that only locals know about but it was closed I shouldn’t have changed our plan so much we ended up eating Family Mart for lunch but got our timing mixed up and turned up late to the QP factory tour I was so embarrassed because we all know how Japan is synonymous with punctuality it did end up being one of our favorite tours so you might just have to follow us for more info on that but somehow it all seemed worth it because we headed back to Osaka for a self- pitting walk around the city and lo and behold we stumbled across the most famous traditional confectionary shop in Osaka and we didn’t have to queue for it let me tell you dinner was a sweet sweet Affair if you’re curious then give us a fuller for more details on everything we mentioned
