Hello everyone This is Masayuki from PHOTO ROAMER [Travelling around Japan solo by sleeping in a car] The morning of the 86th day has arrived b> Today we depart from Omura City, Nagasaki Prefecture After visiting the Peace Memorial Statue and the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum While watching the potato harvest etc. < b>Overnight in the car in Shimabara City, Nagasaki Prefecture Then we’re leaving today as well We parked the car and set out Nagasaki Prefecture, which I heard has a lot of hills b> There are many steep slopes and stone steps Bicycle penetration rate is one of the lowest in the country While there are many hills, it is difficult to get around > You can also see a spectacular view Is it a church? You can see a splendid building Let’s go there later On this overnight car trip around western Japan, I wanted to visit the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima as well as the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima. The Peace Memorial Statue in Nagasaki Peace Statue Because I visited early in the morning, I was able to see the Peace Statue when it was quiet when there were no people around. The Peace Statue is the work of Mr. Seibo Kitamura, a sculptor from Nagasaki Prefecture The statue is approximately 9.7 meters tall > It is made of bronze and weighs approximately 30 tons. The right hand represents the atomic bomb, the left hand represents peace, and the face represents the souls of war victims. ” Seibo Kitamura’s words are engraved on the back of the pedestal August 6, 1945 < b>Three days after the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima Nagasaki, where the atomic bomb was dropped on August 9, 1945 I always wanted to visit in my lifetime So I’m really glad I was able to come Inside the Peace Park where the Peace Statue is located, there are various monuments related to the war.< /b> Nagasaki Prison Urakami Branch Ruins To pray for the souls of those who died here 33rd anniversary of the atomic bombing "The Bell of Nagasaki" created in 1977 Various peace monuments sent from all over the world Also exhibited in the Peace Park Peace Fountain Created in 1969 to pray for the souls of the atomic bomb victims who died while seeking water > When going from Peace Park to the next destination A splendid escalator that appeared in front of me Nagasaki, as expected, has many hills Now An escalator with a length that I have never seen before The angle of the escalator is amazing Pretty scary… Are you on a school trip? You can also see the students Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum Spiral passage As you walk Nagasaki Atomic Bomb It seems to go back in time to 1945, when the > The exhibition contents made me think about various things When you visit Nagasaki, please do come and visit Across the river, it seems to be the center where the atomic bomb was dropped. You can see the strata from the time of the atomic bombing. It’s a little reflective. It’s hard to see, but The bowls and plates that were used at the time The items from the time of the atomic bombing are in the same condition buried in the strata. If you look at these everyday items that were used on a daily basis, you will realize that people who were living a normal life here became victims of the atomic bomb. You can feel what happened not as a document of the war but as an event that actually happened in front of your eyes > Currently, a beautiful river flows Cobblestone pavement has been laid along the river It is a place with a nice atmosphere Many people died when the atomic bomb was dropped It seems that the river was filled with many bodies You can’t imagine it from the peaceful scene in front of you I’m a little tired, so let’s go back to the car. Before that, it’s hot, so I’m going to take a short break. The Bunmeido castella that was on the TV commercial It seems that Bunmeido’s main store is located at the top of this hill . That’s what I thought. The clerk told me that this is the “Heiwa Park store.” The official name seems to be “Bunmeido main store.” All stores have the name "Bunmeido main store" The main store is located in a different location… Right behind Bunmeido There is a peace park where I stopped by in the morning When the time came, there were a huge number of visitors… The Peace Memorial Statue, which I saw from the front in the morning Back When you look at the statue from above, you’ll see a different view. On the hill where you stopped in the morning with a nice view, you can eat the castella cake you bought at Bunmeido earlier. While eating The guide is giving me an explanation. The students have arrived. I am also having some delicious castella while I am being guided. Guiding for free Let me hear your explanation Experience a small school trip I want to pick up my backpack that I left on the bench, but it feels like it’s hard to go and get it… You’re old enough, so let’s wait patiently until it’s over. This kind of guide’s explanation You’ve grown up to a certain extent. If you listen to it after that, it’s very educational and interesting. When you’re a young student, you only half listen. I’m lucky that I don’t have class today.< /b> That’s what I thought… That’s why I ended up eating the castella cake I bought as a souvenir before I took it home. I guess I’ve become a useless adult (reflection) I eavesdropped on the guide’s explanation That splendid building is called "Urakami Cathedral" I found out it was a church Now that I had my backpack, let’s go! Nagasaki has many hills throughout the city Although it is difficult for elderly people to move around It seems like their legs and knees are getting stronger. I returned to the parking lot. Right next to the parking lot. There is a bento shop nearby that looks delicious Take out the bento and have it first No matter how old you are I bought a bento box with hamburger and fried shrimp I ended up buying a lunch box… Thank you for the meal I was so full Let’s go to Urakami Cathedral It’s a splendid building that can be seen from a distance It looks like it’s nice to tour the inside of the church, but Photography is prohibited It seems to be prohibited. It is one of the holy places for Christians in Nagasaki City. Urakami Church was built in 1914 in the Urakami district. It is a splendid church that boasts the best in the East. It is a brick church, but the building was almost completely destroyed by the atomic bomb in 1945. It was rebuilt with concrete in 1959 after the atomic bomb was dropped. In 1980. After being renovated with brick tiles It looks like it is still there today It was demolished during the war Is this the rubble of the building at the time? Even so, it is located on a hill. The church is located in a location with a good view. We were able to see a valuable church. It was located on the road leading to the parking lot. Shopping street Somewhat nostalgic atmosphere Somewhat tropical atmosphere can be felt Let’s leave A tram running through Nagasaki city< /b> That’s good I took a detour to see some interesting scenery When I asked the person who was in the field to tell me the story Currently using potatoes The peak season for potato harvesting is from early May to early June. Now seems to be the busiest time. Kindly I was asked to tell me various stories The casual scenery I encountered during my travels may remain in my memory forever. This scenery I think it will remain in my memory forever. Traveling around sightseeing spots is also fun, but I personally like to stop by places that interest me. I like traveling like this Mizuho Onsen Millennium Hot Spring While watching the Ariake Sea in front of me Take a short break Is the mountain you can see in front of you Mt. Unzen? Go through the Shimabara city area Go a little outside to have dinner When I arrived at the store, I had a bad feeling… I came to eat Champon at Restaurant Yama-chan. Unfortunately, it wasn’t open… When I found out that I couldn’t eat it, I really wanted to eat champon I went to another restaurant, but then I tried it again. I don’t have one… When I get to this point, I get stubborn and go to the third store. I haven’t even opened the third store yet… Or rather, I’m preparing. Maybe it is I want to eat Champon right now I found out that there is a shop in Shimabara city that can make that wish come true I decided to go express. You can get delicious Champon anywhere in the country Ringer Hut I never even thought of coming all the way to Nagasaki When I was a child I learned about the existence of Champon Ringer Hut At the birthplace of Ringer Hut Having some Champon would also be a good souvenir < b>It’s delicious no matter when and where you eat it Linger Hut’s Champon Itadakimasu Thank you for the meal Even if you eat it in Nagasaki, it’s still delicious It was delicious I’m a little curious if the people of Nagasaki Prefecture, the home of Champon, use Ringer Hut often… To Shimabara Station, which caught my attention when I passed by earlier The station building looks like a castle Shimabara Station on the Shimabara Railway Very nice atmosphere There’s even a cute library inside the station building Shimabara Station on the Shimabara Railway Feels like a community-based railway Very nice atmosphere Big carp in the waterway around the station building Looks like a real castle moat Wandering around Shimabara Station While I was doing that, a cute train came onto the platform The design of the train was cute A cute train from Shimabara Station < b>Enjoyed the interesting station building Roadside Station Himawari Looking at the beautiful sunset and Heisei Shinzan End of 86th day of sleeping in the train< /b> Thank you for watching until the end
