in this video we’re visiting the rembrand hotel in OA a four-star hotel that combines the ancient times of the 70s and the 80s with a modern 2020s Japan we’ll show you the room the breakfast buffet and all the facilities because a j and explore we travel smarter not harder we are doing a road trip by car around the Kushi Island and our first stop is the rembrand hotel we are using this hotel as a base to visit the village of Yuen the steaming Hills of beu and the City of o if you want to see more of that we’ve put our episode 1 video in the description box below as for the location the rembrand hotel is located in the city of OA just south of the station and the city center it’s easily reachable by car and they also offer free parking for guests which is very convenient when you step into this hotel you can immediately feel the old Grandeur of what a hotel used to be and especially with its size and all the colors this is the first time for us seeing a bridal Saloon within a hotel and actually there also a large dedicated washing room with a vending machine let’s go to the room we’re on the 10th floor and we booked a twiin room for two nights for this we paid €63 per night without a breakfast as always we are greeted by [Music] me and we make a turn to the left and we’re surprised by a separate sink area with an allil you can take napkins a fully built-in sink area and an abundance of of Ames available and even a hair dryer we move into the bathroom and the colors take you back to the 80s with a giant bath top but the toilet is still the trusty Japanese standard that we love another one of Laura’s favorites a ful length mirror and some decent closet space but we also found this device to press your suit and shirts to get ready for your important business meeting when we move along we can see the bar area with free coffee a water cattle and a built-in fridge for your cool drinks and if you want even cooler drinks like all the older hotels have an ice machine which we love and if you want to stock up your fridge you can go to this vending machine with honestly one of the best views we’ve ever had from a fending machine okay okay but let’s not get too distracted and let’s check out the twin beds they have a big size and like perfect softness level next to the bed was this prehistoric machine with buttons for lights and a built-in clock with even an alarm it’s really funny to see something that ancient and wait who’s that it’s it’s me it’s me staring outside the window looking for more likers and subscribers in the city of OA let’s hope I can find them when we turn we see a well not so smart TV and a beautiful ASMR booklet just listen to that as we move along there’s a space for storage and we have this comfy chair to fill in yes a 2hour long questionnaire I mean just look at the questionnaire it’s crazy but now it’s time for the pest the resistance the piece of resistance The View you have a great view of the hills of OA and beu and this view also comes with beautiful sunsets and as you look down you can see the pool and the pool had a jacuzzi and an onson it’s really relaxing for sure so let’s take one more look at the room and and to be fair it’s a more ancient type of room but still we loved it for sure now on to more facilities in the building there’s actually a 24-hour gym which was also available for people outside of the hotel and free for us to use the gym came with an interactive workout screen playing 24/7 and honestly this was a well equipped gym with everything I needed from the cardio machines for everything I need to lift heavy weights like lots of dumbbells a pull-up machine squat re barbells and in general the hotel gyms are not very common in Japan so this was this was really great working out makes me hungry so we went to the breakfast buffet this breakfast had robots to deliver and pick up stuff all kinds of bread healthy things to make a salad and to avoid and lots of local dishes to try out [Music] so one of the great benefits of this hotel is that right next door there’s a big Supermarket called melon or melon or mat which have a big selection of foods vegetables and so many delicious looking local Meats but you actually don’t need it as you can get all the sushi fresh plus there’s always a wide selection of pre-made meals and just a heaven of fried [Music] stuff we also found Tim T and to our surprise Tony shalone Dutch Chocolate so we couldn’t resist taking a pre-made meal and some chocolate cuz it’s the best overall we can say this hotel offered a great value for money and it was an ideal location to visit many sites in the area and as a side note we also chose this hotel as it was way cheaper than for example in youan or bapu you just get more flexible when you have a car so that’s traveling smarter not harder I’m doing the pain we want to thank you so much for watching and don’t forget if you like this video and want to see more subscribe to us at yes and explore bye [Music] n [Music]

aaand stay tuned for the continuation of our road trip to the seaside town of Miyazaki 🚗
The room is standard, however, the hotel does have a lot of good amenities. The price is very reasonable for what you get.
Great view in the hotel room👍
