some yummy food stuff yes what’s the most thing that you’re excited to try I’m excited to try octopus balls octopus balls you know what their name is Taco Yaki yes and they have little flakes that they put on top and they’re like moving e well let’s go try o it looks so yummy you can see the octopus in it they look like they’re moving don’t they look at that look how cute that looks you guys oh my God look at those flakes they look like they’re alive but it’s just because of the heat it’s making them like move I feel like if it was like a harder pancake piece it would be better the sauce on the top is really yummy though it’s like a soy sauce barbecue thing you don’t really taste the octopus I guess this is like the octopus part oh that’s the octopus to it’s actually really good I thought it was going to be squishy and like rubbery maybe but no that’s really good it’s kind of tastes like shrimp like a harder shrimp there you go look at that smells good this tastes really good yeah yeah it tastes like a I don’t like a tender shrimp plus all the sauce and everything sauce is really good it’s like barbecue yeah and at these little flakes on it I don’t know all goes really well together nice job not F no I thought for chines all these were like 900 Yen which is about like $5 wo I must have good food there yeah the sun has just gone down in the lights are starting to turn on and it looks so pretty here but yeah there are Mega lines in a lot of these places wow so this place has more than just food like this whole tunnel or alley you could call it is just filled with souvenir stores and clothing stores shoe stores lots of things here I got mine all right y’all next up we have one of the places I was so excited to try cuz I have become obsessed with Mochi and this place is called strawberry Mania so over here we got D fuku Mochi which basically is just a stuffed Mochi and this one is stuffed with strawberries and whipped cream oh my gosh I’ve been obsessed with these since we’ve been in Japan like d fuku is so good we had it when we first came to Fukuoka we had them and it’s just soft soft chewy emoi it’s so good and then Ruby chose an ice cream strawberry and milk ice cre cream and you got a little strawberry on top all right let’s try this do feel okay I wonder if the whipped cream is on the inside it’s so beautiful it’s so chewy okay it’s so strawberry like you took all of it is I’m like covered in like the flour of it but it is so good and this one is so strawberry Tim you going to love it the Mochi part is just so chewy and what Li Mochi is is basically steamed rice that’s been pounded for a very long time and then you get this very stretchy dough one of the best things ever look they have the whipped cream in there too it’s just like a little dollop of whipped cream and I think this is like a bean paste that kind of tastes like I think it’s white like strawberry take a bite of that and change your life look at the chewi it’s so good you just took the whole strawberry in there you like it yeah that’s [Music] good y’all I think we’re in the center now look at us R let’s do a spin around so I can see spin around yeah like go like that no yeah looks cool but this is like the center right they like Time Square doesn’t it look like Time Square yeah it’s really cool there’s just like all these Billboards and things all around us and lights and music and things moving everywhere [Music] spider also we got some some crab yes we got some crab under the crab I don’t think we’ve ever eaten crab yeah I don’t know how to really eat this so you don’t eat the outside just the inside the meat it’s like roasted crab oh she’s you maybe should use the Chopstick yeah use there you go oh she’s just eating it out of the T fishy fishy really fishy really fishy you love fish though not anymore there’s the crab meat eat it up it’s fishy like she said yeah it’s like burnt maybe it say it’s like tastes like burnt fish really like hardcore burnt fish flavor well it’s roasted okay so you scoop the meat out oh got it see that gets so much more meat if I had like a buttery flavor I think it would be different right next up we’ve got we got some fried sweet potato with honey butter on it it looks incredible honey butter honey butter Try It Out Try it all you do try it okay then give it to me both of you do it together the sweet potatoes here are incredible look at that look at that it looks so like juicy on the outside good heaven look at the flag I got to Heaven look at the flag the flag Ruby look at the food so good the honey butter is so good too sweet potatoes become one of my new favorite flavors look at it it just looks so good M oh my God Timmy you were underselling this there’s like a burst of butter flavor immediately oh my God that’s delicious what you stabbed yourself no I don’t like it I don’t like it where are you trying to see you can’t see look at that view how cool it’s a h it’s right there wow well we got to check them out but first I see the running man it’s right there where it is go now do you know what what what’s so significant about the Running Man the Creator said uh that the treat you eat around here we’ll give you an extra 300 yard of running distance all right after further research so Glo which is who that is it’s the Running Man is uh one of Japan’s most famous confectionary companies which they make like uh like candies and stuff like that and in 1922 they create their first candy was candy caramel and it was supposed to give you energy so that’s why there’s a running man there ah it’s their logo yeah basically everybody’s saying hi to the this running man it looks so funny all right next up is this cheese tart from Pablo apparently it was one of the best places to get a cheese tart here I’ve been seeing cheese Tarts everywhere in Japan [Music] so he was loud good Yumm tastes like cheesecake yeah wow a lot of chees cheese flavor lot of cheese flavor it’s like a m cheesecake ooh look at it oh this look very mouy M it’s warm it’s delicious it’s warm cheesecake look at those eyes it looks so creepy is it funny too no now we got to find some Savory food because we’ve just been eating sweets [Music] we got to go the 10 Yen coin all right go ahead and try this 10 Yen coin don’t need the bar how much was it Tim it’s not actually 10 Yen 50 Yen 50 Yen oh not bad no not bad at all no it was 500 I take that back 500 okay so $3 they also they have one with cheese and one with custard what is it like a waffle yeah looks like a waffle filled with cheese M there you go that’s the cheese B what’s the verdict Tim good does it looks like a pancake more than a waffle Co need dipping SAU is it good it’ll be perfect with dipping [Music] sauce all right Ruby do you know what we got next I know but it looks yummy so what you’ve got is rice dumpling and sweet soy sauce yeah ooh look at it it looks chewy yummy what does it taste like squishy yeah it’s really squishy when I took the bite I could felt this I feel the stick it tastes uh like burnt rice no way really yeah it’s really chewy look at it it looks yummy it looks um way better than it tastes I heard that these ones are made with um rice flour instead of like the Mochi how they pound the actual rice you can tell it tastes like Mochi it has the chewi of Mochi and it’s sweet I’m so shocked that there’s soy that it’s like soy sauce on it yummy [Music] look at that that’s cute now you’re Mario actually it is [Music] Mario all right guys so we came to our final spot here is called OKO so we came here because they specialize in OKO nyaki ok nyaki ok nyaki which is like a signature dish for Osaka and they have a vegan one here so we can eat it and that’s the main reason why we came here but it also looks extremely cool inside of here plus the lady at the like the cook she literally does everything so there’s like TVs on like each floor and like she can see you and like you have to look at the screen to know when your order is ready and all that plus you can color on her walls which is extremely cool yeah one woman show yeah she’s doing this all so it’s amazing she’s a real one yeah so we ordered uh okan namaki and okaki okaki and guos so we’re extremely excited yum smells so good all right it came out y’all look at this beauty this is the okonomiyaki and basically what it is is a Japanese style pancake you get to choose five vegetables here and it’s a Savory pancake so we chose potatoes mushrooms green beans carrots and onions and then we also got Che ooh look at [Music] that oh it tastes really good yeah it tastes like a really really good like flavorful hash crumbs these guas look so good you can tell that they’re like pan fried so guas are basically just Japanese dumpling this TR [Music] yummy thank [Music] you all right yeah we are officially stuffed to the max but in the best way yeah we ate a lot of food and a lot of it was very sweet which we didn’t intend for it to be we kind of we well we just came and we were like whatever we find that we can eat we’ll just eat and we found a lot of things a lot of them are sweet but they’re delicious they’re so good yeah every time we go out here and eat at like a restaurant or somewhere it’s always amazing amazing we have not had any any bad food here I think ever in Japan yeah not even like at like 7-Eleven or the convenience stores like the food is it’s delicious it’s delicious and it’s been surprisingly affordable like Japan is known to be a like a pretty expensive place and it can get very expensive depending on what you do here um if you do a lot of like the theme parks and just a lot of the activities activities add up a lot but just like living here that’s cute there’s so many things we keep getting distracted cuz there’s so many cool things all around squirel yeah but if you do um you can do it on a budget basically is what we’re getting at the food here when when you come here and get the food it’s not that expensive unless you’re going to get like the A5 wagu barbecue stuff that’s going to get really expensive but like if you’re just getting like the ramen the sushi just all that stuff is so good and filling and it’s very affordable it’s it’s more expensive than southeast Asia but if you’re looking at like American prices like way way cheaper right and better all right so what was your favorite thing that we ate today it’s tough right everything we was so good I guess IID say the dauk the d fuku The Da fuku was by far the best sweet thing in my opinion dessert we’ve ate since we’ve been here yeah my favorite my favorite was the uh the pancake we just had the the okonomiyaki can you say that Ruby okaki okonomiyaki she did it okaki say it five times fast OK Yak OK yak yak nice job I think my favorite Savory thing was the guas I love dumpling so much and those things are so good all right Timmy wrap it up for us bye see you see you thanks for watching see you next time peace we put some pictures on the end put some pictures on the end let try okay but let’s get home first it’s challenging for you like whoever pounded this so hard to get this oh this is beautiful this food pie tastes good stop [Music]

  1. I had those octopus balls, in Philippines, and I agree, they're much softer than I expected. Are the Cheese Tarts the same as Malaysian ones. YUMMY

  2. My favorite traveling family! I love watching your videos 😍 and I really appreciate you telling us where some of the halal spots are in every country; as they will be very helpful while traveling. Happy Eid😃
