Mardi Gras 2024 – Day 1 – Embarkation Day

Day one of our 2024 family cruise on board the Carnival Mardi Gras. This was our 2nd time on the Mardi Gras and we were all so excited. Come along as we board the ship and start our amazing 7 day journey.

hi Kobe hi hi Joey hi are you guys ready to go on a cruise yeah we’re going to go on a cruise in N9 days 9 8 3 6 5 4 3 2 1 are you ready to go Cole rock and roll rock and roll yeah because I’m going to be videoing oh you’re going to be videoing yep because this is Daddy’s birthday today is my birthday yep two weeks later hello uh it’s me we’re going on the food today but we got to go to a hotel I’m so happy yay it’s Cru day almost yeah one more day one more day till we’re going on the cruise yep you ready yep all right let’s go yep [Music] you didn’t know I was going on the Joe come here I did I did I like your shirt what does it mean bies bies but bies is dressed like what buy is it says it says Marty girl on the back yeah because we’re going on The Bu what are you excited [Music] so normally we just park at the terminal by the cruise ship in the parking garage uh this time my mom wanted to park at Port Canaveral parking that’s what they normally use when they cruise out of Port Canaveral and it was very convenient it was cheaper than parking in the parking garage um and it was very easy especially with the little ones the shuttle driver just pulls right up they help you they load the luggage right into the trailer that you see there then you drive right on over to the port and once you get to the port they help you unload your luggage give it right to the porters and you are good to go and it was really easy and like I said it was more affordable than parking in the parking garage so maybe we’ll be using that from now on when we sail out of port canaval [Music] [Music] all right guys keep walking go behind daddy look who we [Music] found keep walking CLS like little [Applause] ducks camera right but you got to hold it steady ma okay [Music] [Music] once we got on board there’s no need to waste any time just go ahead and get that mustard drill out of the way ours was up on Deck eight you see we came in on Deck six we had to go up a couple floors and our mustard drill was right there next to Bonsai Sushi and so we got the mustard drill knocked out and the boys had a little dance party there in Grand Central and so that was it mustard dra is out of the way and now we can start having some fun on the Marty [Music] girl this is mar tomorrow’s my a birthday we’re not moving yet but uh that’ll be in the wild mhm so uh they’re putting on a wage and we waiting we all are going to [Music] eat but um I don’t know what to eat so my mom want to go get it and my dad the camera right now y [Music] yep what you got called hot dog is it good how’s your hot dog hot dog got some sandwiches from Big Chicken here I got that Big Aristotle and see got the MD come on MD looks good let’s eat this chcken got to make slow movements two [Music] hands and I’ll see goodbye our hotel has a balcony it’s not a hotel this is your cruise ship cabin oh yeah it’s a cruise ship cabin okay Joey what color is your card is it red golden wait come here do what my card is golden this card is my card mom did you know he had a gold card I got a golden card is this your first cruise with a golden card is my second oh that your last Cruise you had a golden card as well yeah I got the golden Kobe what color is your card my card is red where’s this is goobe go go go go [Music] hereby after spending a little bit of time in the room we decided to go check out street eats before the sailway party and the first stop was th fries they had chili cheese dog fries so it was a little piece of hot dog some chili cheese and uh they were good they were they were they were good curly fries like a curly fry so it was cool uh at steam dream they had some Char sooi pork dumplings delicious those dumplings were amazing so we’ve been on the Marty grow before but I don’t remember trying any of the street eats stuff while we were on the Marty grow the first time so it was cool to uh try these out and my least favorite unfortunately was the uh beef Kebab um at mad Sizzle it sounded good but it really wasn’t that great for me at least we about to have this St party at 4:00 yeah 4:00 let’s go baby yep that’s right it was almost time for the sailaway party and it was hosted by our surprise Cruise director Chris The Flying Scotsman who was not supposed to be our cruise director but we were so happy that he was he is the best up everybody juming out come on here we go here we go here we go here we go [Music] [Music] come get back get back [Music] Larry Larry Larry you need Jesus that’s what you [Music] and this is what the bunk bed story was like but when you see these two safety devices do not touch them or you will be banned by by every crew you canot what we will get banned got up and I sleep at the top bed Yoohoo and IEP the the barbecue salmon what you got strip steak some sesan shrimp action going down down here salad a little bit of everything [Music] [Music] ah [Music] so that’s it day one here on the Carnival Marty gr the 7-Day cruise is about over with there’s a couple more events going on tonight there’s comedy uh there’s Rock Revolution show so I may go around the ship and get a little bit of footage of that uh but for the most part our our day our first Vlog back in a few years is is done day one is done with we got on the ship did a mustard drill had some food hung out for a little while till the rooms were ready came to the room the boys were super surprised having a balcony room so uh we were able to surprise him with that it was really really cool really fun we went to the dining room and had dinner with our group uh we’re here with uh there’s 10 of us total here celebrating uh Hill’s sister’s 40th birthday so it’s super exciting it’s been uh once we got on the ship and everything kind of settled down it’s been it’s been really cool really fun to just be here with everyone and and to be able to enjoy this time her birthday is actually tomorrow so tomorrow is be Lindsay’s birthday we’ll try to do some cool stuff for that it’s also a c day so GNA go to the pool water slides all that kind of stuff and have a really really fun day tomorrow so make sure you come back and watch that so far so good so
