Hello everyone, Ojisan here! It’s already day 11 of our trip in Japan, today we are heading back to Fukuoka from Nagasaki by train. The journey is pretty quick and easy, taking only about an hour and a half with just two trains from Nagasaki Station to Hakata Station. We have just arrived at Hakata Station. We will grab a taxi to take our luggage to the hotel since we have two big suitcases with us. The taxi is spacious, clean, and comfy—typical of Japan’s top-notch taxis. After dropping off our luggage, we are off to Tenjin Central Park to see the cherry blossoms. The park is beautiful with cherry blossoms in full bloom, though some petals have already fallen. It is quite busy with families picnicking since it is Sunday. The park is centrally located with a small river running beside it. Despite being popular with locals and tourists, it is not as crowded as the big cities like Tokyo or Kyoto. Over there is the ACROS Fukuoka building, which has a unique 14-tier green roof that makes it look like a small mountain. The tulips here are stunning, and we really appreciate how the Japanese maintain their parks. Next, we are heading back to Hakata Station to catch a train to the premium outlets in Kitakyushu for some shopping. There is a small event in front of the station with vendors selling local food, which adds to the lively atmosphere. The train ride to The Outlets will take about 45 minutes to an hour, with a transfer at Kurosaki Station. Now we have arrived at Kurosaki, since we have about 30 minutes before our next train, we will explore the area around the Station. It is a quiet area with a shopping arcade, though many shops seem to be closed. Now we are boarding the next train. On this leg of the journey, we met two Indonesian guys working in Japan. It is interesting because they are the only Indonesians we have met during our time in Kyushu, suggesting that not many Indonesian tourists come to this region. We will continue our adventure in part 2, where we will show you around the premium outlets. Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe. See you in the next part!
