[Music] today we go on another videography trip in search of great [Music] locations the location for today’s video is the kirishima jingu Shrine in kirima City kagoshima prefecture it is known as one of the best power spots in the kosu region I was photographing a large tour gate the tallest in Western Japan people around me looked up it is said that it is a rainbow colored phenomenon that is called Thea it seems to be an omen of very good things to [Music] come as is customary visitors wash their hands at the oat mizou the oat mizou is an important place that marks the beginning of worship the oat mizou at kirishima jingu Shrine is in the shape of a dragon which is [Music] the approach to the shrine is about 1.5 km long pilgrims can take their time to adjust their minds on the way to the shrine the cool approach to the shrine is pleasantly refreshing as one walks through the fresh Greenery cherry blossoms can be seen in the spring and Autumn leaves in the fall no matter what time of year you visit you are sure to be enchanted after passing through a road leading to a shrine visitors will see a representative shrine Pavilion painted Vermilion Hiroshima jingu Shrine dedicated to Nino Moto the hero of the founding myth has a long history dating back to the 6th Century the shrine Pavilions are made of Japanese Cedar HED on the shrine grounds and beautifully decorated with Bri Vermilion it is rare to find such a magnificent wooden Shrine building and it is designated as an important cultural property of Japan the roof and walls of the main Shrine are beautiful L decorated with delicate carvings and ornaments the size and beauty of the main hall gives the visitor a sense of the best of traditional Japanese architecture it has an overwhelming presence in the vestibule of the shrine building put your hands together and receive power from the 80y old sacred tree which is about 37 M tall and is said to be the ancestor of the cedar trees of Southern kosi next walk around to the back of the Sacred tree look up and search for the knob of the tree which is the image of a priest with a crow’s hat on his head holding his hands together you will be lucky to find it this kirishima Shrine is also popular as a matchmaking Shrine as it was the honeymoon place of Roma and Oreo you can Divine your path to love with a love fortune or write your wish on an emotive tablet of Roma and Oreo thanks for watching I’ll be back next week to film some more great places you can also look look forward to seeing my English skills improving along the way if you like it please subscribe to the channel and give it a high rating and like [Music] [Applause]
