Join me on my latest solo travel adventure in Japan! In this vlog, I share my experience of navigating the Shinkansen ticket system. I realized I only bought a seat ticket for the Shinkansen to Hiroshima, so I had to purchase the travel fare separately. While at it, I also secured my ticket to Osaka.

Exploring Hiroshima was a profound and emotional experience due to its heavy historical significance. The next day, I ventured to the beautiful island of Miyajima, where I immersed myself in its serene and picturesque surroundings.

one last morning from Fukuoka I’m on the way to the trade station now to go to hoshima little did I know but the train ticket yesterday was so cheap because it was only the seat reservation so now I have to go to the chain station to get myself a faan tiet as well so I left a little earlier so I have enough time for this all right so that was fairly easy the line was not the queue was not too long to the ticket machines and I could only buy a fair ticket there which was another 5,170 Yen um so in total I think it’s 8,900 Yen which is about uh 50 to 60 which is still cheaper than the ninja one told me so I’m going to do this more upten ium I have another hour now to kill so I’m going to the coffee um before I bought the shanson for the first time off we go boarding [Music] C I probably could have Saed saved the money for the reserved seat doesn’t seem too many people but you never know with my luggage I don’t even want to [Music] try we left on the spot on the second at 10:45 no second later so that was a quick R to hoshima it’s a little bit more than an hour all good very smooth I decided it’s a good timing to buy my zaka ticket immediately cuz now here has no Che on no big Che and I know it’s done hey total of 67 and I think the ninja page would have told me $119 um so here also saved money again uh by going directly to the train station and getting my ticket here at the machine and also a lot cheaper than in total for uh compared to the Jr plus I did not purchase the one with oversized luggage though I’m not sure if that was right or not but as usual it is what it is and we will see now I find my way to the hotel so that was like a 15 to 20 minutes walk from the station not so easy again I seriously have to do something about my luggage uh maybe get a a bigger backpack and put some of it in there some of the cosmetics in there I wish I should I would have done so at the end of my trip that would have been so much easier first of lunch apparently a lot of locals eat here I ordered something at machine and then we get a little um which seems to be regular here in Japan about this [Music] okay very intense I will probably not eat again but people here seem to go crazy for this all right I think I could have done a better choice um in there there were other dishes which looked a little bit better I have to say um I guess that was the authentic Japanese way of a Bowl was uh very intense I have to say so now I need something to drink to get the taste out of my mouth was not the best but cheap I was around5 I’m on my way to the hirosima uh peace Memorial and the museum I was a little bit taking my time to come here because I think it’s going to be very intense I read reviews um that yeah it’s uh very emotional apparently so I took it easy to get here here you can see the D um I think they kept it in the way it was after the B um to always remind that to remind ofs I just finished the Museum tour I decided not to film in there because uh yeah I was very strong in emotional pictures um I also went through CR quite quickly uh I wasn’t reading everything and for me the most interesting things were the videos where um survivors and soldiers talked about how they experience and what has happened and yeah for me that was the most um interesting one um yeah so it’s only 800 Yen which is I guess 44 or something so I think you should do it um don’t maybe stay in there for too long if it gets if you know I mean it’s emotional so but at least you get some insights of it I’m at the the castle now the Hiroshima Castle it is from 1500 something but it totally destroyed by the atomic bomb so all of this has been rebuilt and reconstructed for 370 Yen I’m going up on the Castle so there is an exhibition inside on each floor you can see different things and we lot and I’m on top of the castle have a very nice view of Hiroshima okay I enjoyed the view from up here and it’s time to go down good morning from hirosima it’s a beautiful day super nice and warm I already had breakfast at the hotel because we just said the breakfast was good which is which it was not not even the coffee so I still have to get the coffee now but I’m going to oh I really checked it before but it’s called IU kushima I don’t know uh well I’m going there now uh there is a nice Shrine and it’s very famous uh and then I can do some hiking over there I think it takes me about an hour to get there so I’m walking to rashima station now to catch the train and then I have to take a little boat A Little Ferry because it’s an island where I’m going and I think it’s the perfect day if the weather stays like this I will have a nice time outside of yoshima cherry plom is still going on here the train is leaving every 10 minutes or 15 minutes or maybe 20 who knows uh quite regularly uh so I first going to get a coffee and then I can see if I can catch the next train already I haven’t bought the ticket yet and I don’t know if I need to decide in time um so yeah coffee all right I found the Starbucks I was craving Starbucks today okay that was super long line but I got my Vanilla Ice L now I’m going to get a ticket I couldn’t pay the ticket with the credit card so I paid cash it cost $84 y return got a water bottle as well now the train is leaving in like 3 minutes or something oh it’s packed no idea where I have to go I have to take the ferry now but I’m following everyone else uh actually it only took 30 minutes to come toak GUI I think it’s called um and now the ferry this is the island of going to me and okay I just missed the fair but it goes every 15 minutes and I could use my reca card I think it’s called so I could just tap with my phone to get here and I think it’s 400 y fourth and back but who knows there it goes yes’s go it’s a 10 minutes Fair the fair is packed I’ve got to see is [Music] fantastic all right I made it to the island with a million other people um so it’s a very popular place I think I will first walk to the tourist attractions Shrine or whatever it is um and then I will start my hike up the mountain and they have deers just on this island and they’re just walking around or laying around like this one they W they’re wild animals so you should leave them alone don’t try to pack them but yeah they’re just around here very cute and just to pronounce one location right I’m on Mima Island I’m a little bit proud of myself that I could pronounce that look at this curious one here [Music] currently it’s high tide and I think in the afternoon 5 around 5ish 56 5:30 uh I think there will be low tide and then you could even walk over there not sure if I’m going to be here by then until then but again we will see my most most popular phas on this on this journey we will see I’m at the five story story Pagoda had to take you some stairs to be here um but we’re coming here my God look at this the deer was so cute so to go up to the mountain there are three hiking trails and I think one of them includes that you can just take um the gondle up there whatever that is called um but I I decided to take the o u u Trail apparently this is the greatest View and then there’s one which is uh a lot shorter but it’s also deepest one and goes through the frze so I’m aiming for the one with the view
