Stayed in Kobe for a day and walked around downtown. Had an awesome meal of Kobe steak and took some pretty pretty photos too.
good morning folks we are in Kobe miss Len last night had a late night had a close call we had no cash and my ATM doesn’t work we use my credit card to take the taxi and the thing is I here in Japan it’s all about cash which kind of its kind of kind of sucks it’s kind of annoying everything is really slow one for the credit card the machine doesn’t work as quickly they do transection silver pieces of Scott paper I don’t know but we got here the guy said it was cool I showed him the address we’re staying at an Airbnb right now this is our room it’s really nice it’s cool it very very cozy and homey our host is really nice just left for work right next to the Shinkansen train so when we move over to Kyoto later today we’ll be able to just hop over and walk down the hill right now we know get some Kobe steak we’ve been able to make any reservations so we’re just gonna walk around the area we’re all I mean all the famous Kobe beef places are I think it’s called su novia and we’re gonna take the bus down there for a little bit and then we’ll come back and I will venture our way over to Kyoto let’s go take a look in the balcony this is Kobe cool man can’t wait to venture out about to have breakfast our host offered us some of these delicious snacks right here so we bout to try some for breakfast I think we’re going to try the UFO I hope it’s spicy so it’s time to boil some water so I’m gonna try out these UFO noodles there’s like this whole six step process first you dump in the water then you let it sit for a little bit and then afterwards the third part is you pull this off and you dump out the water that’s been cooking it and then you put in the sauce packets so I guess it’s like a dryer it’s not super it’s like a noodle something dude I look at like clean now I just shaved my head I’m so happy not all scruffy and everything like I was all week okay let’s see how this goes [Music] while we let the noodles cool chosen to try out the cove a delicacy the cove a pastry like a pancake sandwich it’s like one of those pancakes are you fine in the picture like okay well there’s a tank with a hamster on the head so it’s like a pancake sandwich what’s inside looks like some kind of bean paste how is it it’s red bean breakfast time broad noodles it actually isn’t as spice I don’t smell spicy so we’ll see some excess Aminu roll or something all right oh I’m gonna enjoy some of this pancake waffle right I mean pancake sandwich damn this straight up is a pancake red bean sandwich was all good streets of coal Bay it’s noon trying to get to the bus stop so we can go to sue no Meah I think it’s the name we had Coby [Music] Oh [Music] and feel the differences so whole building filled with pictures there’s such pretty girls pretty girls [Music] hi so I know you’ve been watching for like the last six or seven minutes but um I forgot to do an introduction to when we went into this restaurant and I need narrate I just recorded the entire thing I didn’t talk I felt kind of weird right we walked in front of this spot and it’s it’s like this so it looked like a meat shop so walk in and then were like hey we want to try out some Kobe beef and they said oh there’s a restaurant restaurant over here in the back so okay fine cool walk in the back takes us upstairs in this elevator and it’s this nice restaurant like you know during during that year or during that time I wasn’t really familiar with a lot of Japanese stuff I mean the last time I actually had some kind of experience like that was when we went to sue kiamashi Jiro the sons restaurant down in Roppongi and it was as intimidating as that was the folks in there were really nice very accommodating but I just felt kind of weird like they did they didn’t give us the common oh okay but I still felt kind of weird too – really I guess vlog the experience so the next few minutes is just listening to everything happening and watching everything happening and whatever if you know if you don’t want to watch it you can stop it right here it’s pretty much it or you can kind of take a look at how Kobe beef or Kobe steak is prepared I think it’s called the teppanyaki style I mean it was almost kind of like out here it’s kind of like Benihana style but dude that meat quality was hella good man just thinking about it again it’s just like dude it melts in your mouth that’s cooked to the right temperature delicious kind of pretty expensive but oh it was great there was actually this elderly couple that came in also for lunch and they ended up buying us like a calamari steak because they were so nice you know they started speaking to us in English and it was awesome it was a great experience I’m just trying to reminisce on on what happened back then cuz right now this moment I’m actually you know cutting the video up it’s November 2017 was back in January I think was 2016 now so almost two years ago and uh and yeah so that’s why as I was cutting it up it felt kind of awkward to just just you know jump right into it was kind of odd so I decided I’d give like a little bit of intro just in case alright here it goes this was our first Kobe beef experience give this marble Marble Madness NES 8-bit [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you [Music] [Applause] [Music]
