See the rides and food in Fantasy Springs and get some tips on how to get the most from your visit! I visited on Opening Day with a Fantasy Springs Magic ticket that was part of a vacation package but I also have experience using Standby Pass during several of the sneak previews before opening day. I share important things you should know about visiting Fantasy Springs like Standby Pass, Disney Premier Access (DPA) and Mobile Order. I also share strategies for visiting with both types of tickets and my thoughts about the rides, merchandise and restaurants.

it’s around 6:00 a.m. on June 6th and I’m about to meet up with some friends to visit Fantasy Springs most of us have vacation packages but I also visited this new area during sneak previews last week with a regular ticket so I have some tips for you no matter which type of ticket you plan to visit with anyway I’m going to get breakfast then head over to Disney C oh [Music] a [Music] [Applause] [Music] my friends and I got wristbands when we entered Fantasy Springs because we had Fantasy Springs magic tickets from our vacation packages regular ticket holders can only enter Fantasy Springs with Premier access or standby pass which I’ll explain later in this video we wanted to go on Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey but it wasn’t open so instead I walked around taking pictures and actually saw Anna and Elsa interacting with guests I followed them around for a while but soon the ride opened and I was ready to board my boat while similar in concept to Frozen Ever After in Orlando and Hong Kong Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey has many scenes that are not in those attractions the effects and animatronics are also very well done despite the drops being very mall I got surprisingly wet one of my friends prefers Frozen Ever After in Hong Kong to Anna and Elsa’s Frozen journey I can understand that because Frozen ever after is a bit more thrilling and has more time per scene for you to really soak it in but I think I prefer Anna and Elsa’s Frozen [Music] Journey when the ride reopens only guests with Fantasy Springs magic tickets or Disney Premiere access could enter the queue guests with standby pass had to wait a little bit if you don’t know the difference Disney Premiere access or DPA is a paid service that allows you to access priority lines standby pass is free and allows you to experience things in the park that have restricted entry both of these can be booked within the app and will give you a 1-hour time window for rides in Fantasy Springs once you’ve booked one of these you won’t be able to book another one for a period of time after getting off the ride I asked the cast member for a first ride sticker and a first visit sticker to commemorate this moment then I saw Princess Belle who was just [Music] leaving I also briefly left Fantasy Springs to get a peach and lemon sparkling drink from Miguel’s El Dorado Cantina this was refreshing but a little bit bit sour since I had an unlimited free drink ticket from my vacation package I didn’t have to pay anything for this after my drink I headed back to Fantasy Springs to ride Rapunzel’s lantern Festival on this ride you get to experience Rapunzel’s Best Day Ever After sailing past Rapunzel in her Tower the boat enters the dark portion of the ride sailing into the lantern scene of this attraction is really amazing and the feeling can’t be fully conveyed through the camera I just wish that this ride was a little bit longer after Rapunzel I headed over to Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure on this attraction we joined Peter Pan and the lost kids in a ship that actually feels like it’s flying I think the special effects are really cool as this ride transitions between real sets and 3D screens it feels a lot like the ratatouille ride in Paris and Walt Disney World but by the end of the ride I did feel a little bit of motion sickness so this is a ride that I unfortunately don’t want to go on too many times in one day during the sneak previews last week this ride seemed to break down the most often when that happened my standby pass in the app automatically turned into a multiple experiences pass valid for 2 years in addition to Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure this pass was also valid for any attraction outside of Fantasy Springs including those at Tokyo Disneyland I actually used it the next day for Peter Pan’s Neverland adventure and was told to enter the standby line outside of Fantasy Springs multiple experiences passes allow you to enter the premiere access or priority line on opening day one of my friends was about to board this ride when it broke down since he was already in the queue a cast member scanned his ticket and he got a blue multiple experiences pass which is also valid for 2 years but can be used for any attraction including all of the ones in Fantasy Springs [Music] [Music] [Music] he [Music] after Peter Pan I headed over to fairy Tinkerbell’s busy buggies while this ride doesn’t have Premier access yes with Fantasy Springs magic tickets still have a priority line that allowed us to board faster than guests with standby pass the moment I entered the queue I felt like I had shrunken down and been brought into Pixie Hollow on this short attraction aimed at children were participants in Tinkerbell’s delivery service which brings Parcels to areas of Pixie Hollow with different seasons this ride brought back fond memories of Heim Lick’s Choo Cho train which used to be at California Adventure but I like fairy Tinkerbell’s busy buggies even more than I like the Choo Cho train [Music] [Music] after going on all four rides in Fantasy Springs I began to re-ride them unlimited access to the priority lines is one of the benefits of the Fantasy Springs magic ticket to get this ticket you’ll need to book either a vacation package or a stay at the Fantasy Springs hotel after visiting during sneak previews without it I highly recommend that you get this ticket if you want want to visit Fantasy Springs during the sneak previews even when I arrived at 6:00 a.m. before the Disney Resort line started running I was not able to ride Frozen you basically had to arrive at 500 a.m. before any public transit arrived in the area for the couple of days after opening day some people arriving on the first Disney Resort Line train were able to get standby passes for frozen but unable to get Disney Premiere access for any attraction a better option for regular ticket holders who don’t want to wake up early is to stay at the Mira Costa which allows you to enter Disney C 15 minutes before regular guests this means that you should be able to get standby pass for Frozen and possibly even DPA each standby pass and Disney Premiere access gives you a 3-hour time window to enter Fantasy Springs that starts at the same time as your pass if you’re lucky enough to get both standby pass and Premier access then you’ll have two time Windows to enter Fantasy Springs so you can go on your first ride then do other things at Disney C and come back for your second ride anyway my friends and I had a mobile order for a late lunch so I stopped by oaken’s okay foods to get a snack I thought this cinnamon and meat bread actually tasted surprisingly good after that snack I headed to the import Oro at the front of the park where you can buy Fantasy Springs themed merchandise now let’s take a look at these items [Music] [Music] [Music] a lot of what you’re seeing on screen I actually filmed in Fantasy Springs gifts during the previews but merchandise is basically the same at the Emporio to get into the Emporio you might need to obtain a standby pass in the morning to get into Fantasy Springs gifts you’ll obviously need to be in Fantasy Springs even though the line for this store got long on opening day it did move quite quickly when entering the store a cast member might scan your ticket to make sure that you only enter the shop once per day your ticket might get scanned again when you’re making a purchase to make sure that you only buy one of each popular [Music] item for Elsa’s coronation of course they’re selling a box of chocolates [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] this plush charm of cheese the mouse who helps Tinker bow with her deliveries seems to be the most popular item so if it’s available and you’re thinking about getting it don’t hesitate or it’ll likely sell out the Mickey and mini badges are also super popular and likely to sell out [Music] after buying a pin set I went to nearby Villa Donaldo to pick up my vacation package souvenirs in addition to a shoulder bag I got a choice of three original Goods so I picked the tote bag after this I headed to Dockside Diner to try the grape and kiwi drink this had some crunchy stars on top and was a bit sweeter than the lemon sparkling drink from Mel’s for the 15-minute walk back to Fantasy Springs I got a berry fruit tea from a food truck in front of tower of tear even though it’s called Berry there was grape and grapefruit in addition to strawberries this was my favorite of the three specialty drinks thus far as the tea flavor made it feel less sugary after rewriting Frozen and Rapunzel I saw a massive line to meet princesses the princesses will will take turns meeting guests so you won’t actually know which princess you’re meeting until you get to the front of the line annoyingly I soon had to leave Fantasy Springs again to ride soaring fantastic flight because I chose this as part of my vacation package both the ride and the walk to the ride took a long time so when I was done our mobile order time for the Royal Banquet of Arendelle had arrived when you step into the counter area of the Royal Banquet of Arendelle you might smell the scent of chocolate this restaurant is surprisingly big and many portraits on the wall will feel familiar from the movie [Music] we needed to use mobile order in the app in order to eat at the three restaurants in Fantasy Springs and the Royal Banquet of Arendelle tends to run out of mobile orders first during a sneak preview I tried the seafood pie which comes with potato grattin and a smoked salmon salad my friends who had tried both the seafood and beef pies prefer the seafood with one reason being that the sauce for the beef is a bit too rich the parts of the meal I enjoyed the most were actually the smoked salmon salad and the dessert I especially like the chocolate mousse under the Olaf marshmallow on opening day I got a kids meal and I actually enjoyed this more than the seafood pie meal the potato salad with Sesame was interesting but picky children might not like this as much as the meatballs since I already had several sugary drinks I used my drink ticket to get an iced tea our lunchtime was just before the Fantasy Springs greeting show at the front of the park so my friends who finished eating before me left to head over there anyway here are some clips from the show [Music] [Music] after a few more rides I decided to redeem my vacation package popcorn coupon at the popcorn Wagon in Fantasy Springs the souvenir popcorn case was nice but the roast beef popcorn was a huge disappointment nobody in our group really liked it and it came in this boring Red Box instead of the blue Fantasy Springs popcorn box that was available at other popcorn stands in the park during the sneak previews I saw a lot of people buy the Peter Pan popcorn bucket but on opening day it didn’t seem as popular anymore for dinner we went to the snugly duckling this is the tavern entangled where Rapunzel meets a bunch of Ruffians [Music] I got the cheeseburger which was surprisingly good but I think I may slightly prefer the shrimp burger that I had during a sneak preview one thing I really appreciate is that unlike at other sandwich and burger restaurants at Tokyo Disney you can choose salad instead of fries your side in the set meals between these two meals I tried both of their desserts I liked both of them and don’t really have a favorite so I recommend getting whatever one looks interesting to you on opening day I also got the magical milk tea the first few sips were extremely good but as the ice started melting it got a little bit water down even though the Royal Banquet of Arendelle tends to run out of mobile orders first I prefer the food at the snugly duckling after leaving the snugly duckling I wanted to try the sparkling drink at Lookout cookout since it wasn’t busy even though I didn’t have a mobile order I was allowed into the restaurant by showing my vacation package drink ticket the sparkling drink here was quite similar to the one from Dockside Diner but I did like the one from Dockside Diner a little bit more out of the three restaurants in Fantasy Springs Lookout cookout is the easiest one to get a mobile order for and I can see why the snack box that I tried during a sneak preview is one of my least favorite meal options in all of Disney C so I’m not in a rush to eat here again after placing a mobile order in the app you cannot make another one for 1 to 2 hours depending on your order time during most of the sneak previews mobile orders for the Royal Banquet of Arendelle and a snugly duckling ran out less than 2 hours after Park open this means that people who wanted to try both restaurants were constantly refreshing the app hoping for a cancellation if it’s really important to you to try both of these restaurants then you’ll want to plan for at least 2 days at Disney C or you might want to book a vacation package that allows you to pre-book these restaurants separately from mobile order for guests without a fantasy springs magic ticket your mobile orders can only be within your 3-hour fantasy springs entry time anyway back to opening day after dinner my friends and I headed over to Mediterranean Harbor to watch believe sea of Dreams after the show they announced that the fireworks were unfortunately cancelled with this extra time I went back to the food truck to try the peach fruit tea while I enjoyed eating the Peaches I thought that the other fruit tea tasted better once returning to Fantasy Springs my friend and I wanted to experience some rides at [Music] night fairy Tinkerbell’s busy buggies actually did feel quite different at night [Music] I will be uploading more guides to Disney SE and reviews of hotels in the area if you’re planning a trip to Tokyo Disney then check out the videos that will be linked on screen
