Today I walk you through the Hyatt Place Kyoto King Room tour. We had a great corner room which was quiet. This hotel also had a small laundry room as well as a small fitness center. There was a bar area that was open for short times in the evening. You could also purchase breakfast from the in house restaurant in the mornings.

hey guys welcome back to the channel today we are coming from the Hyatt Place Kyoto and we are excited to be here we’re going to be here for about 10 days so we’ll be exploring last time we were here we were only here for a couple days so we decided to stay a little bit longer and explore a little bit more so let me give you a tour of our King room let’s start here in the bathroom this is the front door um and right here you’ve got your cards it’s a whole thing they explain it to you you get here that full makeup room ecology or simple clean or do not disturb then the bathroom is all contained in one room I do like that the light is inside if you know you’ve traveled abroad a lot you know a lot of times that light switches outside which makes it more complicated to come in here in the morning nice set here in the bathroom sink little bit of space here but you also have space down here which is great this slides out which is perfect yeah your towels down there your trash hair dryer they also have um they’ve only got a couple toothbrushes here but downstairs as normal they have the amenities that you can choose from like razors and brushes and things like that so this is perfect and then you’ve got your toilet right here it’s a Toto automated and you’ve got your little panel here on the wall so it’s perfect and then the room that we’re in doesn’t have a tub this is just a shower one they do have rooms with tubs you have to do those Reserve those if you want a tub we’ve had a tub for a long time so we thought eh we could skip it this time cuz we’ll have it next time all right right here out from the bathroom you’re looking at these drawers um you can put some things in here this is always good they give you the fabric and air freshener which is really good for your clothing or for the room brush and shoehorn empty drawer and then your PJs are here they give you three sets to start and your and your slippers and you’ve got someplace to put your bag if you want and somewhere to hang your things here is kind of like your kitchenet is type area this is where you’ll find your cups and mugs and then down here is your little fridge and it’s empty it’s not like a mini bar it is a highet place uh so you can fill that up with whatever you want and then over here you’ve got your tea kettle and your bucket and then you’ve got some great Outlets here so Universal which is perfect and some USBS uh I do like that there’s this kind of desk space because there is a pull out little seat here so I could sit there and work or here if I like got a nice big TV here and they have a system where you can do casting from your device so that’s going to be pretty cool too and we’ve got this little couch and I think this folds out maybe not sure but could maybe sleep a child or something there curtains we don’t have a view here we’re on the fourth floor so we’re just facing this building here but look at this nice king bed yay one bed and look at all this space this is actually a pretty good size room I think this is 25 sare M if I remember correctly um got a nightstand on each side and I do love you have your own electrical outlet plus USB and then both sides have a panel where you can control the lighting in the room you have two pillows with the duvet which is really good there’s Outlets everywhere which is great that tells you this is a newer Hotel um and then same thing on this side you have your outlet USB and you can control the lights from over here as well has a little clock if you want to do an alarm or whatever so this pretty good room I think this is going to be great for 10 days to explore here uh they do in have breakfast it’s not included with the rate that we booked um but you can add that on if you want to as well they have that in the morning and this is going to be really good it’s not that far from the Imperial Palace uh so you can walk to some things from here or just easily get a taxi or an Uber from here but this is going to be nice to kind of spread out a little bit in this room reorganize our bags we kind of have a big mess going um but if you have uh questions about this hotel we did book it because we’re working on getting globalist uh we did book it um and got a really good deal about $130 a night right now if we booked it today it’d be about $200 a night so that’s a pretty good deal I think on those 10 nights that’s a huge savings um which is going to be very helpful as we’re working towards that global we do have explorist right now um so we’re getting closer every day and these 10 nights will definitely help that out so as I said we’re going to be here for a while going to be exploring all over Kyoto and uh just going to bring you guys along so make sure you subscribe to the channel if you have questions leave those down below in the comment section and I’ll see you guys next time

There has been news about the Japanese government banning tourists from certain areas. Have you run into any issues?
Thanks for sharing
Great tour of the room! Love there’s always slippers in Japanese hotel rooms! Which taxi app do you guys use in Kyoto? I hear the trains/ subways are not as developed as Tokyo and Osaka
QUESTION: Paid nights count toward Globalist. Do nights paid in World of Hyatt points also count toward Globalist?
Does this also apply to other brands such as ING?
