RICOH GR III POV Photowalk – GRAND NIKKO AWAJI [グランドニッコー淡路] (Positive Film)・JAPAN

This Photowalk takes place in a part of the grounds of the Grand Nikko Awaji [グランドニッコー淡路] Hyogo Prefecture (兵庫県).

Grand Nikko Awaji is across the Akashi Strait Bridge, a 15-minute drive from JR Maiko Station. The stylish hotel offers a fitness center, free parking, and free Wi-Fi.

The rooms offer great views of the surrounding park or the Inland Sea. Featuring modern designs, they have a flat-screen TV, an in-room safe, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and amenities.

There’s a heated indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool. Guests can also unwind with the hotel’s sauna and hot tub. The hotel is part of Awaji Yumebutai and is close to the Promenade Garden and the International Conference Centre.

Awami Restaurant offers traditional Japanese cuisine in a modern setting. Mediterranean dishes can be found at the Cocolare Restaurant.

Grand Nikko Awaji is a short drive from downtown Kobe. JR Maiko Station is 15 minutes, Sannomiya Station is 45 minutes, and Shin-Kobe Station is 60 minutes on the highway express bus. You can get off at Awaji Yumebutai bus stop.

I set my Ricoh GR III in P mode. The AE Metering was Multi-segment. I shot in JPG only (Positive Film).

I always show all photos, even when some should have been deleted, because I feel it’s essential to show the good, the bad, and the ugly (e.g., completely blurry photos) in my run-and-gun-style photo walks.
