[Music] hey everyone Welcome to our Unforgettable school trip to Japan we explored four incredible cities Tokyo Kyoto Hiroshima and suai from bustling markets to tranquil Gardens every moment was an adventure needless to say this was a once- in a-lifetime experience so join us as we dive into the incredible sites sounds and memories we made let’s get started service enj [Music] [Music] ladies and gentlemen welcome AB Nar why you [Music] laughing after almost 10 hours of travel we finally arrived in Japan exhausted but excited for the weeks ahead we began our trip in Tokyo the capital city of Japan and the largest city in the world by population after settling in at our hostel we decided to explore a local 7-Eleven these stores were packed with snacks and drinks we had never seen before it was the perfect start to our adventure [Music] the Starbucks in Japan our second day in Japan began with a visit to the zoo right when we arrived we spotted the Starbucks we were eager to try their exclusive Japanese drinks the flavors were different and excisive making for a fun and refreshing St after that we wandered through the beautiful green spaces and saw a variety of animals the atmosphere was Serene a perfect morning [Music] outing [Music] take they [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] youy [Music] guys I really want to see [Music] their faces look like dogs [Music] they why was that scary look their faces are really cute I don’t like them guys their faces are [Music] really I’ve had one before [Music] no it’s going to be good just wait I’m going to make it so good bub te already will you find your [Music] we couldn’t resist checking out McDonald’s in Japan the menu is different and it was fun to compare it to what we have back home another goal checked off our [Music] [Music] list our final stop of the night was the Tokyo skyro Tower we got there just in time for the sunset and it was absolutely Sunny standing at 634 M it’s the tallest structure in Japan and second tallest in the world the design is inspired by traditional Japanese architecture and it lights up in different colors each night no wonder it attracts millions of visitors each year definitely a highlight so far [Music] love me so [Music] you we ended the night off with a stroll around the surrounding chops and then indulged in some delicious Ramen was the perfect way to wrap up our first day in [Music] Japan our third day began at the Imperial Palace it is known for its primary residence of the emperor of Japan situated on the historic grounds of the former Ido castle and surrounded by beautiful gardens and Moes the area was peaceful and beautiful and we even witnessed a few [Music] weddings I want to play that song again [Music] next we walk to the Tokyo Station it is one of Japan’s busiest Railway hubs serving over 450,000 passengers daily and connecting multiple local and bullet train lines making it a central node in Japan’s extensive rail network it was filled with several shops and places to eat which we explor what the heck the most Beau that looks so [Music] good Kaitlyn this is like [Music] my I definitely should have got more clips of Japanese Cuisine but most days I was just caught in the moment ready to [Music] eat shabuya Crossing was next located in front of the shabuya station it is one of the busiest pedestrian Crossings in the world with as many as 3,000 people crossing at time during peak hours it is one of Tokyo’s largest and most popular entertainment districts with an abundance of Cinemas arcades karaoke bars and themed cafes offering endless entertainment and options for visitors of all ages it was such an iconic spot to visit it was so crowded but worth it [Music] [Music] we ended the day in aiaa known for its electric atmosphere with huge lit up signs the Lively shs were [Music] [Music] fascinating leaving Tokyo behind we boarded a train to Kyoto up the stairs in Kyoto station there was a f classic view of the [Music] city Kyoto is renowned for its Rich history traditional culture and stunning temples and shres [Music] [Music] famous for its thousands of Vermilion Tory Gates we visited the fim Inari shrine [Music] from who your [Music] phone this is pretty cool [Music] sure over please [Music] [Music] another day Kyoto took us to Kinga kuu the golden Pavilion which was stunning it was built in 1397 and covered in Gold Leaf as Buddhists believe that brings prosperity [Music] and then explored Nishiki Market where we sampled delicious foods and bought souvenirs this place was crowded with tourists [Music] Johnny stop [Music] will be [Music] soon we wandered around the gon District known for its Gesa and traditional tea houses our day ended with a hike up to kutu daa where we caught an incredible sunset [Music] station [Music] our visit to hiyo International School was a highlight we met amazing students took a tour and even participated in some of their electives such as martial arts and a matcha tea ceremony it was a unique and enriching experience done video of [Music] what everywhere [Music] throughout our trip I realized how reliable and efficient the transportation system in Japan was whether it was a bus Subway or train we got to our destination quickly and smoothly [Music] [Applause] [Music] Hiroshima known for its tragic history as the site of the first atomic bombing in 194 has transformed into a symbol of resilience and peace we visited the peace Memorial Park atomic bomb Dome and other cultural attractions we were able to experience both the city’s tragic past and its inspiring message of Hope and Reconciliation [Music] foree spee [Music] a day trip to m Island was so beautiful the friendly deer roed freely and the island offered beautiful sights we took a ropeway up m n and hiked down soaking in the St be [Music] aample [Music] before entering the island they let us know that the deer was quite friendly they tried to eat our paper maps for food which we played along with [Music] trying to give us your phone [Music] toee [Music] [Music] [Music] Sky you keep [Music] everywhere we went there were V shes now some were filled with classic japanese snacks or s had hot drinks which those were our favorite [Music] in suai we experience the charm of Japanese Hospitality during our home stay with our sister School visiting their school it allowed us to immerse ourselves in cai’s Rich culture and Forge meaningful connections within the community I hope to see my Homestay family again and maybe even show them around Victoria if they ever come to visit we took a boat tour of matushima bay with our homee the bay one of Japan’s top Scenic spots was incredibly beautiful and provided a peaceful entor day it is celebrated for its iconic Beauty adorned with over 260 pictures Pine covered Islands to budm it is said that the tendai Sacred Scriptures were ritually cleansed by fire our final day in Sendai was spent shopping with my homestate yuzuha and her friends we explored the city picked up some last minute souvenirs and enjoyed our last moments together [Music] although this trip was only 2 weeks it was filled with Unforgettable moments and endless fun exploring a new culture with my friends was an incredible experience and I’m grateful to our teachers and parents for making it possible saying goodbye to Japan is Bittersweet but I hope to return someday to create more Ms goodbye for now Japan [Music] oh [Music]
