officially do not need dinner I [Applause] full so where I’m at right now is probably about 15 minutes from the tourist area all the tourism is at the very tip of Pung La ble down by Alona Beach so I’m about 15 minutes north from there as you can see Pung Lao is completely flat if you go Inland across the bridge into Mainland ble you you’ll see more Mountains rise Terraces that’s where the Chaka Hills are and the lobok river all of that is is none of that is in Panglao Panglao is where you get a lot of the beaches um okay I just turned down a road that I’ve never been down before and I I’ve been living here for a long time so let’s see what’s down this road no let’s go right I don’t know what we’re looking for the reason I’m doing this is because there’s an ocean in this direction and so I do this sometimes if I know there’s an ocean I’ll just start driving down a road towards that ocean and sometimes I get lucky sometimes I find sand I see the ocean you see the ocean but do we have beach access right there is that construction going on maybe what is this exploration day I love exploration days let’s go see what we got native huts and glamping look you can see the ocean right on the other side there but this let’s see if they’ve got a restaurant if they’ve got a restaurant then we can get a drink or something and check it out if it’s not a restaurant then I can’t be here because this is only for residents but there’s the glamping you see that glamping Hut and then bathroom here helloa oh it’s not public it’s only for guests oh okay okay well then never mind you can order sir I can order yes do you have coconuts have coconuts oh no can I just have one soda please I’ve never I’ve never heard of this this is awesome hello kamusta okay long you can get like a a native Hut here or this larger one where you’ve got a couch I don’t want to point the camera at someone’s window and then you’ve got the bigger round one over here that’s kind of like a YT a Mongolian yurt and then you can go swimming your helmet put my helmet down yeah you put your helmet all right thank you thank you is there a beach near here yeah public beach over there and also there what’s the name of it okay all right thank you thank you we are near bikini beach as well interesting thank you very much you’re welcome we’ll just have something cuz I don’t want to wander onto their property and not buy something hey comea the colder the better though this is ice cold with actual ice so it’s always better how nice is this though let’s just check the prices real quick and there’s a hot tub over there I was just going to see what the the prices were here H yes sir uh for we don’t have the the uh rates but then uh this one sir you want to look inside oh there’s no one in there no one in there oh then yes perfect yes awesome all right thank you so this one is our uh this this room is with already it’s only 1,500 per night that’s awesome so that’s that’s like $30 a night with airon flip flops okay or no flip flops no slippers okay all right so I’m M po oh nice so that’s the that’s the airon UN that’s the airon Ser okay perfect got a bed and you’ve got some water bedside table and so this is the light yes sir emergency light oh very they will be brand out and do you have do you have Wi-Fi on the property too yes sir it’s free oh nice we have free Wi-Fi sir yes and you can access it in the rooms yes sir and you’ve got your couch drying rack porch some chairs and you can smoke outside also okay and you’ve got Ocean View this one we have the bank bed it’s only 1,200 good for three person already okay so it’s it’s more like baradas you know with friends yeah person yeah right so what was the price again 1,200 1,200 and then you come here with friends and you can get the bunk beds or family or something right but this one is not airon you only have fun for it okay you got a fan what what’s the name of the uh uh we call it us native hats and clumping yuge yeah how do you spell that uh j u s h and you’ve got a nice area to sit here this is so ni ni thank you also have the family room you want to see and St sure why not and then you got little ents over here too bamboo yes it’s Bumble it’s so you’ve got if you had some friends here you could have a hangout play some cards I wish I knew about this I I have a place that I Live Now obviously but I wish I knew about this when I first got here but we are quite far from the Alona Beach nlife area with the restaurants so but that’s I prefer being away from that anyway oh it’s white it’s white and how much was this one uh it’s only 1,200 same and then mosquito Nets yes uh but no mosquito net up there no but we can provide the one for free okay okay yeah yeah yeah that can be important sometimes and then what about the windows here okay so you’ve got open air right there okay so yeah yeah mosquito Nets important with open air there these are so cool would I be able to check the Wi-Fi yeah sure okay just for you guys so you got you have your own bathroom you have your own bathroom but it’s separate separate so you’ve got your shower you’ve got your toilet here comes with some hand wash you got a mirror it so peaceful here you can hear the ocean from everywhere so also we have like grilling station here normally but then right now it’s really hot so we don’t uh we don’t let the gas have barbecue of their own because of the Native houses oh right here yeah oh you don’t want to catch the native houses on fire yeah okay okay but really hard okay when it’s not as hot you can Grill there okay well thank you so much for the tour you’re welcome this is if you want to check it out okay I’ll show that also all right thank you very much Sal so a beer is 7 5 or 85 the coffee is 80 espresso is 80 pancake breakfast is 180 [Music] pesos let’s look at some food food cordon blue chicken cordon blue I’m not French sorry for my pronunciation 440 pesos you get something like spaghetti carbonara 340 pesos Fried Chicken 390 pesos and then that’s your view right there cuz that’s I mean that’s the same that you’re going to pay in the the City mey Pizza 520 what a solid find barbecue pork belly 420 okay I’m going to get going so I can show you this beach real quick and let’s run the speed test here whoa that is not bad at all look at that 90 megabytes per second 100 for the upload no no that was the download oh but the upload that is very strange you got got 100 megabytes per second download but not even one for upload that’s weird usually you don’t see that it’s pretty crazy huh there you go no change thank you very much have a good night or afternoon thank you let’s go to one of these nearby beaches and see the closest good beach to here drink all my water here you go thank you all right thank you it’s so peaceful and then you’ve got the full the full restaurant you don’t even need to leave thank you all thank you they’re all super nice there really nice stuff but what do we got ocean over there rocky road over here man this is just nice though got some dog let’s just check this out real quick just want to let you know know what kind of beach you got going on up here oh yeah you’ve got a perfectly good beach definitely Rocky down here so it’s not the softest sand beach but it’ll do this is this is a beach I will take it so yeah if you want the ocean and you want to be secluded you want to get away from everything here’s another option heck got some music positions I think with some tandai rum over there but I’m actually surprised that it’s not more crowded on a Saturday on a FS today as well what do we have here Bobo Bobo Beach Garden coffee in restaurant okay so that’s a restaurant to get some coffee there how nice is that but the sound of the ocean right now is just super relaxing the purpose of today’s video exploration day to show you a little bit about what I like to do in my free time I like to explore drive around which is surprising that I haven’t found this place yet but as you saw how random that road was that I went down and over here we’ve got another restaurant look at this Kusa is this a restaurant yeah yeah are are there that’s a restaurant are you cooking for the restaurant no oh you’re cooking for you okay all right awesome I thought he was cooking for the restaurant right here we’ll go look at some restaurant prices I’ll give him a little promotion as a tradeoff I can’t believe I found this this is nowhere near any tourist spot that you’re going to see in behle this is really somewhere completely random and then you’ve got some places maybe you can stay right over there too some more native houses kusta hi hi can can I show can I show your restaurant yeah yeah awesome and you have rooms too can I show prices [Laughter] also it’s a good trade-off okay so this is called Pearl Resorts you how they a good good not a lot no all of the the regular Filipino breakfast is here p uh free brick fer free with the room okay and what if you come from the beach and you don’t stay here how much is this okay can I make is the video okay okay okay I’m shy oh you’re shy no you don’t have to be shy can you pay for a breakfast if you don’t stay here yes sir how much is that 250 for breakfast okay okay all right Sal okay so a bungalow is let’s see Bungalow one and two or 3299 Bungalow number two is 2899 Cottages are 150 per hour oh you can get a cottage for an hour if you just oh okay so if you just want to come have a beach day you can rent a cottage for an hour thank you so much so and maybe these are the rooms yeah these are the rooms I got to show the restaurant prices hold on pasta is 280 you have main course is 300 chicken curry chicken tanola AO I’m ping okay so that’s your restaurant prizes if you want to eat right here at Pearl Restaurant what a nice little find we have here hey kamusta what are you doing sea urchins SW how do you say SE urin swali swaki swaki swaki you’re looking for sea urchins now we DT dessert the baby one oh so you’re you’re cleaning them off yeah oh absolutely oh wait do you eat this green stuff too L yeah yeah there’s guso and L yeah yeah SE grapes okay all right well enjoy all right bye that’s super common here that’s been in a few of my videos now the sea urchins but I I heard them say vlogger so I had to go interrogate I had to go bother him but this is just a complete completely out of the blue find for me over here I mean I I guess this is why you probably don’t hear about it it is very Rocky and also it’s a bit farther away it’s a more isolated location if you want to get away from all the chaos then here you go thank you for watching this one and I’ll see you in the next one

  5. LMAO. Quote: "In my country we dont use corn in dessert", stated in a way that makes it sound strange. This from a yank that no doubt finds it acceptable to use pumkin in dessert, while the rest of the world just shakes their head.

  6. After living in Japan, China, UK for many years and visiting many other countries I have realized that while in the US you may have a bigger house, a bigger salary, a better university, in other countries even for average people the food most people eat everyday is better (and cheaper), the fun they have every weekend is better (and safer), the cities they live in are better (and more bustling), the history/culture they experience is better (and more interesting), and the women they see everyday are prettier (and well mannered). The US has positives too (great outdoors, work opportunities, diverse, friendly people) but the truth is I guess we are rather boring haha. I certainly can understand anyone who decides to live outside the US. Enjoy life where ever you are!

  7. Ahhh that just sums up one of the things I ❀ about being back home in the Philippines. The impromptu gatherings and just the laid back lifestyle. The halo halo is great too, of course!

  8. Now is the CHAOS YOUR TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM IN BOHOL?..OR AMERICA?..YOUR WORD'S DMAZZπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  9. Thanks for your generosity Jonathan! Those guys surely enjoyed the halo2x party you gave. Daghan man layag diha sa tindahan heh heh! Enjoy your travel Jonathan. Keep safe!

  10. Checked out Pearl resort yesterday. Nice place to relax and chill. Been living in Dao for the last 12 months and did not know this place existed! Cheers for the video

  11. Ahh…next time have the halo-halo with Ube ice-cream on top. And that’s really nice of you to treat them with halo-halo.

  12. The good thing in the Philippines is that the locals speak English, even the young kids. And they are very friendly, too.

  13. a lot to explore in panglao island, try to the other side of panglao opposite to dauis bikini beach, maybe bingag dauis to momo beach

  14. Very good sir! I'm glad you are picking up more Bisaya language. I love the non tourist areas of Bohol. The prices are lower, the people are friendlier, and there are many more unexpected wonders to discover. Thank you for showing us this. There is so much more to Bohol than Alona Beach. I retire to north of Sagbayan in July. I have a nice house there my Filipina wife built for us. Why don't you give us a video of the more common Bisaya phrases you have learned? It would be very helpful to many of us. I see how with just a few local greetings and thank short phrases, you become more than just another tourist to them.
