was my soulmate we’ve been through a lot together from moving in together for the first time at the beginning of the pandemic to both our dads passing away within 10 months of each other yeah that was rough I’ve wanted to go above and beyond from the ringside to the location I truly believe she deserves it so when I found out that Japan was on both of our Dream Bucket List as a nation something just clicked and I knew I had to convince her to somehow take a 14-hour flight and now we’re here front of Mount Fuji and on top of that somehow I was able to convince one of Tokyo’s best photographers to come out 3 hours away from Tokyo to capture this moment and I can officially say that today’s a day a lot of you guys have been waiting to see I love you Laura and thank you for being my rock and making me a much better person than I was before now let’s see if I can surprise her and make this one of the best trips ever [Music] [Applause] what is up travel Squad we are back at it again back at it again and today as you saw from last night the last Vlog we are in Mount Fuji how are we starting the morning off today we are starting off with a morning of a hourlong photo shoot in front of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawa guccio kaag guccio nice job thank you yeah I know it’s like if you go to Japan and don’t go to Mount Fuji like did you really go to Japan no this is like it we woke up this morning and looked out the window looks like an absolute Da Vinci painting yes it does not look real at all it’s wild but unfortunately later in the day it’s about like going on 9:00 now it has changed and hopefully it changes back to what we saw it as because this is what we’re seeing now directly behind those clouds like right there in the center of the frame there’s Mount Fuji you can kind of see like it going up a little bit but yeah it’s it’s gone so yeah that’s what we’re dealing with right now hopefully it comes out we our photo shoots in like the next 2 hours and we can get some great shots but if not oh well I just hope it doesn’t come out later in the day let me knock on some wood because that would like walking around touring seeing the mountain when we could have had the mountain early in the day you know what if not we we are face FaceTiming we are photoshopping Mount Fuji into our photos so yeah that’s what we’re doing then we’re just going to spend the day at Lake cucho around Mount Fuji maybe get some food some souvenirs I don’t know then head back to Tokyo around 5:00 and hop back on that bus we came on here on last night come on baby let the sun burn those clouds away let’s see that gorgeous face of yours but honestly right there that looks like a good photo spot those are all cherry blossoms there’s someone taking photos in their wedding dress so I guess that really is a photo spot looks like cherry blossoms are going to be planned B for our background that is a good call it’s still beautiful yeah two hours later all right here we go look at that dress so this is what Laura decided to wear for her photo shoot I feel like it has like basically cherry blossoms on it so I feel like it just really like I saw this I was like that’s perfect it’s supposed to be like 50° here but it’s actually really not feels like Perfection to me as long as the wind doesn’t blow let me show off your little outfit got some Kenny going on up top so I came across this candy flowers like Patchwork type thing some khakis and regular shoes Lord helped me pick this outfit out so don’t come for me I think he looks really cute and we’re coordinating I’m sorry I’m not being so excited like I’m just we thought we had something early this morning and now it’s just gotten worse and it’s just like you know what wow the pictures are still going to be beautiful are they though yeah they are I’m sorry I hate to complain it’s like no it sucks when something doesn’t go according to plan well no it’s not even that it’s more of coming all the way out here paying a photographer to come from Tokyo all the way out here so it’s like it cost extra but it’s and it’s like the day before and the day after and this afternoon are clear but this morning happens just to be cloudy so that’s why I’m just like oh of course it’s this morning it’s frustrating yeah but hey you got to can’t control Mother Nature no but you got to roll roll with the punches and now we are waiting for a taxi to take us to our photography location to snap some dope stuff and hopefully we can get something to eat look at that all like authentic Japanese house it looks like with like the bonsai trees and all that oh my God the bonsai trees I love that so much I don’t know if they are but it looks like that it looks like that kind I know this is a little nerdy but I kind of wish I had the power like Storm from X-Men I I just go and throw the clouds up into the sky and get away from the mountain or like I told feain earlier like in Bruce Almighty when he just like Paints the clouds or Paints the Sky with clouds and like pulls the moon in but she could do that this is just like a quaint little town you know what this reminds me of actually what like one of the small towns in Alaska like it’s just like little houses that everyone lives in just like not busy that is why it feels familiar and then this is our Airbnb SL hotel that we stayed in it’s like Cafe mermaid no merido it was I liked it a lot yeah very quaint yeah super quiet and just lovely our taxi is here let’s go yay 11 minutes later quick little drive so we are here finally you might get some breakfast over here but the URS or AKA cherry blossoms are in full force oh my God that is g that’s the most that’s definitely the most we’ve seen since we’ve been here yeah so we might just change it up and do that instead right hey it’ll match my dress now this is what I was expecting at kyota oh my gosh how gorgeous is this park seriously wow look at this so we’re here with our photographer K he is an amazing photographer I like stuff we’ll link his stuff down in the description down below but we I found him we were supposed to do Fuji but he was like yo we can do the cherry blossoms instead so that’s what we’re doing yeah look at the the Cherry boss from here it’s already cool so we’re I think we’re in good hands yes you are don’t worry don’t worry guys oh my gosh that’s beautiful wow wow so pretty that we did this earlier like we wanted to do it later because of Mount Fuji but good thing we did it earlier because there’s a lot of people here now oh yeah it’s super busy it’s just Taurus after Taurus after Taurus of that it’s still chill though still better than what we experienced in Kyoto Fuji came out to congratulate us though at the end that’s a good way to look at it all right let’s go get some food cuz I am hungry we’re starving I know we talked about it yesterday but here’s another decorative one that has Mount Fuji on it where they decorate the manhole coverage which is nice that one is the prettiest one I’ve seen no we looked out yeah M Fuji is not the best but at the same time look at this you cannot beat this shot and full bloom cherry blossoms like rare that rare yeah that was just like we got so lucky with that part you guys want to know how we celebrate after the proposal family March we’re actually just here to get some cash but yeah we’re good family Mar look at these Hills I can’t imagine what they look like covered in snow we’ll just have to come back in the winter time we have stopped we have found a place here in Mount Fuji’s area kimuchi so they like a whole bunch of tempor eel but they also have this soup and everything here looks pretty good oh okay I got yes goes in M well he just dropped down the sock and he filled it up way too much so we got the hookup congratulations I don’t need food I’m full of love and Stones I’m full of carrots we’re about to be lit going back to Tokyo this is my fiance this is my fiance guys I’m B’s fiance just want to do a little take on this restaurant what you do like in um America they usually waiters and stuff come to you after after a while you’ve been sitting down in in Tokyo or in Japan you find things you want and then you push this button and they’ll come and take your order so you don’t you push this button right here but no so always remember that you you might just be sitting there forever either that or you can say sum Mas hi I’m Laura and this is my first drink of the day oh that’s really like white yeah it’s very nice and I’m F and this is my first drink of the day still make the face but it’s it tastes just like it was at the fish market actually that this is smoother yeah that that had a much bigger bite to it just then so F got a cauldron of soup Kio told us to get some hoto and I did but I didn’t know it was for two people so we got two bowls and I have a C my Harry Potter cold hot of um of soup it looks incredible though we see how this goes I even have a ladle would you like some soup um would you like some more I I guess I’ll have some even though I have my own you’re a fiance woman now I’m sorry I can’t see your ring I’m sorry I can’t thank you okay I’m just kidding I’m just king kidding and then I got noodles that I believe you dip in the soup and some tempera about to Chow Down before we head back how was that how was that meal authentic Japanese food that was so good that’s the first time I’ve had like dipping noodles where you like put the noodles in and I added some like chili sauce to it too so I didn’t know you were supposed to dip some stuff in so I just ate your noodles cold and I was like this isn’t good like the plain noodles yeah what was that laugh did you change your laugh up yeah I’m a fiance now so I have a different laugh getting all packed up to head back to Tokyo and look who wants to show up today hello sir how are you nice to see you again I don’t know I’m making a big deal about over nothing honestly I’m just glad that it happened everything worked out photos are gorgeous go to our Instagram and check them out I could have said no we’re about to head back on the train but of course first we had to do some damage at the gift shop about to head back on the bus not the train oh but then the train so we just spent 9,000 Yen in the and we got a bag full of stuff we did get a ton of stuff so and it was really cute I’m not mad about it we actually just found out our bus isn’t till 3 50 so that’s 2 hours so Loris found us a place to chill little hole in the wall I guess you can say in the neighborhood it says they have coffee online I haven’t really had any today it has even like the Japanese like sliding doors that go across when you enter it’s really cute it looks like we found another hole in the wall place with written on menus so you know this is authentic right here yeah and it was a really quick walk from the bus station it comes with like these hot pots so I guess they do hot pots or soup or something with these burners I mean oh that looks like he needed some water I’m so dehydrated and then Laura got me a super dry so I’m excited for that cuz I haven’t had one of these yet great googly moogly that thing is juic so what what are what are these I just said chicken I pointed to it and she goes ah chicken and I was like okay two so I wonder what the difference is one’s Teriyaki one’s another one it looks like it’s just two different flavors let’s see Japan has the T most tenderest chicken I’ve ever had in my life the most tender chicken I literally can’t tell you what flavor this is I think it’s kind of like plain but it’s really good look at how these beers have been the whole tab came off this makes drinking beer so much eat I feel like I can drink it a lot faster with this too it’s awesome it’s like a cup to chug it I see that someone likes to play games with me why you put your hand up like that it’s not like there’s a ring on your finger I don’t know what you’re talking about look who decided to wake up today full glory and all it’s just like our friend Chase likes to sleep till 3:00 I guess literally right as we’re about to leave I’m so glad we got to see it in the morning and in the afternoon on the way here so like I can’t really complain I just wish it was in the photos but who knows I might use the M Fuji emoji and call it a day slap it right in there it’ll look the exact same yeah we’re definitely coming back here we know that we haven’t shown you pretty much anything of Mount Fuji in that area and stuff there’s like tour there’s tour buses people getting off going to hotels and all that there’s so much to do here there’s so many things to see we just didn’t have the opportunity to do that and hopefully when not even if when we come back hopefully we can do like a tour Excursion something like that to show you what is what’s there Avail what’s available to do maybe even around the Autumn time cuz I know that’s supposed to be popular o yeah I think we could easily spend like a week here that is the one thing that we’re going to do differently next time like I want to spend like more than a week honestly you need to spend like 2 to 3 weeks and give each city that you go to like a couple of days because what we’re doing right now we’re just like speedr running and getting all the surface level stuff out of the way in order to like fully appreciate it you have to spend like a day or two there this has been an absolutely wild trip cuz we packed so much into it so tired so tired glad we were able to have a lifechanging event happen who knows when the wedding is going to be cuz who knows honestly get us to 200,000 and we have the wedding oh God come back here and get married a little later and just like that we are back in Tokyo the city we’re out of the countryside and we’re actually in shuku and we’ve never been here before didn’t you say this is kind of like the party area yes this is the Party part of Tokyo supposedly um this is where Peter from ordinary Adventures told us to stay cuz it’s a lot of fun but it was cheaper to stay in shuya so we’re about to go check out Shinjuku see what it has to offer Lauren wants kind of like celebrate yeah I’m kind of tired but we’ll see what happens let’s go have some saki look at this now yeah this is more like bustling like New York than culia this is our first Hookah Store that we’ve seen on the third floor of this building you want to do some hookah no already it’s kind of like a different vibe we have not seen that in shabuya at all it like already feels a little less clean to be honest it really does I’m seeing more trash now this feels like Time Square there’s so many people here and I love it hey here we’re going to check out this place down toot it’s supposed to be like has everything in it like gifts anything you want it can have all the Kit Kats all the kit cats they have a marine fish tank right here and in the center of the frame there’s a Mor eel just chilling I didn’t even notice that I don’t like what okay let’s go check this place out and if you ever want to know what the logo looks like it’s like a kind of like a penguin floor is the same for like how much stuff is in each floor should I get a basket or should I just wait till tomorrow you’re kind of are you nervous I it’s like I want to get a basket but that’s just like more temptation to fill it up you know let’s go scout out the stuff we want and then come back I definitely want some of these Dragon Ball stickers we’re here at another floor and it’s just more stuff I don’t know what to make of this store it’s just more stuff every floor is more stuff ooh I was looking for some nice Chopsticks okay Laura when we come back here we’re going to I’m probably this is where we’re getting the Chopsticks yeah look at these clear Chopsticks I feel like everything on timu comes from this store yeah if timu was a store it would be this want to check out Japanese that they have literally everything they have scrubs they have is that makeup soaps yeah makeup they have shampoo shampoo bars I didn’t even realize this there’s an upstairs too do you want to go is blinding that’s what you get today know they had those I’m also noticing a lot of places here are doing like 24/7 so they’re always open for example this place is open 24 hours and we’ve heard that people come here party stagger around drunk and then go back to work it’s funny because the trains don’t go past midnight so you may have a hard time getting home yeah you can get stuck here but I mean I wouldn’t mind getting stuck here n no I take that back I take that back I don’t want to get stuck here let’s go back to your office and sleep it off and start work again the next morning there we go efficiency so we’re in like a gacha place where it’s like little arcade games and I’m going to go get some some coins to play some games kind like an arcade in a way oh oh there we go I like why ago can’t go longer than that without having a meal in Japan no so I think we’re going to get something to eat I’m feeling Italian for some reason and I heard Japanese Italian is actually really good so we’re going to try that I think we’re going to compare it to our Portugal Italian cuisine that we oh I don’t know if you can do that who knows maybe it’ll beat it and here’s another one look how it’s looks like a flower it’s like a like a cherry blossom or something another day another manhole only in Japan 10 seconds later and that was a bus they are fully packed so I guess it was a good place I was actually looking forward to that to be honest she was like writing on her phone I thought she was like putting us in in to wait and she turns around and goes in English sorry we are fully booked like damn I was really looking forward to that the pizza looks so good can we find another Italian place a little longer than a few minutes later oh update we are 0 and2 for Italian food evidently it is hard to find a place to eat on a Friday night go figure right so we’re going to head back to shabuya and see and drop our bags off and then try our luck we will not be going to a convenience store or that ramen restaurant tonight if not we’re going to starve we’ll see just then we weren’t planning on trying this but here we go McDonald’s in Japan hey I heard it’s different I’m willing to try it it looks really good I think it’s CU we’re hungry isn’t it got some cherry blossom special today I think it’s going to be good I’ve heard that it is much better than the states but then we also heard about Burger King and it tasted the same so yeah I’m just going to point at everything all right please don’t judge us for our food we actually got a lot of the stuff to try I think these are two Samurai and then we got this one to no this is a samurai this is a Samurai and this one’s a try and this is a try it’s all a try but might finish it if it’s good let’s try the samurai Burger it smells really good SM real good it kind of tastes like a regular McDonald’s burger but it has this like Samurai sauce on it which makes a huge difference yeah I think it’s roasted soy sauce is what I read online that’s what it is I’ll give that a 6 out of 10 let’s see what you think about it e this bun feels nice eat the do it’s like a a a McDonald’s burger with Pizzaz I really like that that’s really really good I was going to see how you liked it no don’t even take the bite so this is like a potato bacon pie or something potato pie yeah honestly not it it’s pretty bland yeah that’s not for me this might seem like a obvious answer but I do not recommend McDonald’s and bur King Japan stick to the normal food like the Japanese food if you’re especially from America just stick to the local Cuisine but I would choose McDonald’s over Burger King 100 cuz honestly my my burger was really good I mean it was good but it wasn’t like holy crap this is so different no but if if you’re
