I stayed in a 100-year-old house in Japan!

After spending hours looking for a cheap place to stay in the countryside of Japan in Aso, Kumamoto, I found an old house to stay all by myself.

[Music] so so right now I went to a campsite here I almost cried I mean I cried and the most campsite are closed during this season so yeah that’s the downside I want to settle for four nights and I’m still looking for an accommodation I don’t know after 4 hours of looking for accommodation I I finally found one and it’s 11 km away from the station after stressful days of looking for an accommodation to stay here in ASO finally I found one yeah and join me as I live here for three nights three nights yeah so this is an all Japanese House made for about 20 years now but it’s actually 100 year old it um the staff said that has to be transferred on this location but this one is all the materials in here are made of woods and 100 year old so I’m just going to stay here for 10 nights all by myself and let’s [Music] see so this is the view outside like we have this Cas so this is the house and once you go out this is this will be your view but once you walk outside house this is your your neighbor is really far I can just and so this is their source of light um you have to use this to open this this is a way to to block the wind so it has to be closed so as you can see it’s very traditional Japanese house but it’s already more then we have fire extinguisher in here so on this other side to keep me warm at night they have this heater so in our in my country we have airon because it’s always hot but what I observe here is they always have a heater so this one this is um they heaters it it’s run by a fewu well inside so it’s like 20° right now it’s supposed to be 5° right now but thanks to this kind of um heater so this is called Blue heat and they also have this but it’s too much so I only have this typical Japanese style it’s made of wooden floor [Music] tatami [Music] right oops this is the place where I live right now it’s like um 14 km away going to asso City station maybe one extend but like um I accidentally book a hotel tomorrow but it’s going to be windy and cold now like oh my gosh it’s cold now compared to the other day look at this view I’m just nearby here in 300 M turn right oo it’s really windy now so I’m just going to be on the hand for food right now cuz I live very far need to buy gloves I lost my gloves yes yesterday so thankfully um it’s not uphill here because I keep on looking for uh cide it’s all closed because it’s winter season now winter season has started oh I forgot my mass it feels humid now compared to the from the previous day it’s very quiet in here so in Japan it’s um different side cuz in the Philippines is on the other side so look at this is yeah so it has spun around even if you look to the other side so Majestic I want to move here for like 3 months only I have a Visa for that I will do it why not right living in a FR Countryside this is my dream and I’m now leaving it little by little look at those mountains you so this is like your famous restaurant you need to line up just to eat there oh they have ice cream here like a lot of ice cream hand I don’t know if that restaurant is worth try and it seems like [Music] yeah I think I’ll just cook eggplant for dinner [Music] so this is the town of assle [Music] yeah yeah it’s like eat but I cook time to eat I’m so tired of 71 I’ve been eating [Music] [Music] [Music] go to yufu and then change my mind and just do easy route instead taketa road so it’s going to rain later but hopefully it won’t let’s see it’s really cold right now the temperature suddenly dropped to [Music] 4° so many trucks climbing at 3° C it’s too hot now but I’m too lazy to pull out my B oh I think one one more climb after 10 10 SE I don’t know how to English yeah okay can do it time for some downhill Dr might rain in a few hours uh 600 m elevation and I’m going downhill now I hope it’s all downhill yeah I don’t know if I can make it to beu but yeah I’ll try and this did I pay I pay already paid oh yes you already done your payment on YouTu so this is [Music] i that’s 100 right [Music] a so if I add more it will dry more [Music] minutes yeah so I’m trying um beu cold noodle it’s they call it raymen yeah yeah so I’m currently on the C right now see so um from Summit to see now touchdown beu I just stored it um it’s surprisingly yeah they have a beach of course yeah so we’re currently around 20 m above sea level you can see here actually I can come here that we have this kind of beach but it’s still cold to swim here so no way s oops yeah look at this so that’s the port going to another Island yeah so I’m here right now at Naruto UD and I ordered this food it’s not too expensive around 500 to 1,000 yen so yeah I’m so hungry I need rise yeah [Music] so I think this noodles is what they called Udo [Music] we also have this Fork so good it has some soy sauce the side
