Hello Nu Yawkers! Today we continue the Atlantic City restaurant series where I tour all of the restaurants in the hotels and casinos. This video is about the restaurants in the Resorts Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City’s original casino! The restaurants in Resorts are really underrated. hey everybody this is Jeff Le and I’m here in beautiful Atlantic City it’s beautiful night I’m here in front of Resorts Hotel and Casino going to continue my series here of the restaurants of all the hotels and casinos in town haven’t done Resorts yet so we’re going to go inside and check out the restaurants there so come along with me won’t you [Music] as you’re going to see Resorts has lots of dining options all the way from fast food to Casual to F dining and again this uh video is part of a restaurant series I’m doing here on the New York Channel if you’re interested in finding out more about restaurants in the hotels and casinos within Atlantic City just check on that playlist it has its own playlist here on the New York Channel every casino is covered and just as with the other restaurant videos whenever I’ve eaten at any of these restaurants and recorded it I’ll share clips of those recordings with you during the video first thing we’ll do while we’re here at Resorts is head upstairs where they have three really nice restaurants and a raw [Music] bar hold on tight [Music] the first restaurant we’ll visit here at Resorts is Docker they have a steakhouse as well as a raw bar the Raw Bar here at Docker is really good they have a nice uh late night happy hour I’ve been to several of them I’ll show you some clips in a moment uh it’s a short window it’s from like 10:00 at night to 11:00 at night and usually when I come here I swipe my card downstairs My Rewards card and I usually have like a $20 dinner comp or something like that this is a great place to come if you’re not looking to spend a lot of money during the happy hour uh $20 goes a long way pretty much almost covers your entire meal and on weekends they usually have live entertainment here usually a singing guitar player you’ll notice most of these restaurants are quiet while I’m recording this video and that’s because I’m here late night on a week night also it’s off season and the summer season hasn’t kicked in yet but it’s right around the corner let me show you some of my late night happy hour meals here at docker’s [Music] rawar as many of you know I like to make holiday videos in Atlantic City and I do it every year and uh this was one of those occasions it was uh I was recording holiday videos and I stopped in for the late night happy hour here at Dockery and uh had myself some crab fingers and Kobe beef sliders and a nice glass of Pino Noir the Kobe beef sliders were really good they had caramelized onions on them as well but the crab fingers that was the star of this show it’s the first time I had it here this past holiday season I’ve had it many times since I really recommend crab fingers here and they’re also uh dripping in garlic butter really really good the sliders were Kobe beef caramelized onions melted cheddar and a [Music] pickle on another occasion I stopped into Dockery I think it was during restaurant week which is in October here in Atlantic City I had some coconut shrimp and a ribey cheese steak and uh guess what a glass of Peno Noir what can I say I’m a wio keep in mind the portions are small but it is a happy hour and uh again everything usually comes to less than $20 without the wine the wine adds like another $10 to the bill but that’s to be expected I usually order two items and it usually comes to about $20 I always feel I deserve a nice big glass of wine at the end of the day to uh reward myself for all the hard work I’ve done recording at least that’s what I tell myself [Music] myself on another occasion I ordered up the fried calamari and some meatball sliders and a cold draff beer hey I needed something cold to drink that night did I mention I like this place yep I come here a lot and by the way if you’d like to see below I like to eat and apparently you guys like to watch me the meatball sliders were pretty good but the calamari was awesome it was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside sometimes you get calamari it’s like rubber bands but these were really tender and they had some uh kind of hot peppers on top but you could always pick those off I enjoy them but some of you guys don’t like spicy food you could always pick those off [Music] next up here at Resorts is bread sticks a great place for breakfast as well as lunch this place also offers great views of the boardwalk the beach and the ocean if you’re here for breakfast it’s a great way to start your day I had an awesome breakfast here a little while back ago with great views of the beach I had some cinnamon swirl french toast some breakfast sausage a cup of coffee and a nice Pino Noir okay just kidding about the Pino Noir I just wanted to see everyone’s eyebrows go up [Music] on another occasion I stopped into bread sticks it was a cold Winters afternoon I was in the mood for some soup I ordered up the French onion soup if you like french onion soup this is the best I’ve had in a long time certainly the best in Atlantic City I also had a side well it came with a side of bread sticks as well I mean the name of the place is bread sticks [Music] this was so good okay let’s move on next up is the award-winning Italian restaurant caprico the restaurant has a nice bar with a happy hour I believe it’s pronounced cello the bar it’s spelled c i e l o I don’t think it’s CeeLo I think it’s cello I could be wrong the past several years caprico has won the best casino restaurant in the nation which includes Las Vegas as well imagine that and uh it’s very busy especially during the season I came here last season I asked for a table for one they told me they couldn’t do that that I could sit at the bar and I can’t record at a bar it’s very awkward so I’ve yet to eat here and make a recording but it’s on my list coming very soon to Resorts hopefully in the next few weeks is chicken guy a chicken restaurant from Guy Fieri uh known mostly for the sauces that they serve with their chicken tons of varieties of sauces can’t wait for this place to open I’m dying to do a video that of course will show up on the Jersey Jeff E [Music] channel hey while we’re out on the boardwalk let’s check out L Shark Bar and Grill I think it’s safe to say this is the only restaurant in Atlantic City that’s actually on the beach resorts had a boardwalk fire several months ago and the lar Bar and Grill has been closed since but they’re also doing uh a lot of additions and renovations to the property as well so hopefully it’s going to open up soon maybe for this season and it’s going to be bigger and better [Music] I had a not so good experience here at the lanchar bar and grill the seagulls were almost impossible to deal with and somewhat frightening actually the food was bad and the service was worse I’m hoping once it reopens which I definitely will visit once it reopens that uh things have improved and we’re going to see a much better Lark Bar and Grill here on the beach in front of Resort’s hotel and casino nothing looked like the pictures on the menu in including the [Music] drink across the boardwalk and inside Resorts is Margaritaville [Music] I’ve eaten at Margaritaville a couple of times and I’ll show you those Clips right now the uh service is good the portions are small and the prices are high that pretty much sums it up on one occasion I ordered the fried seafood platter it included fried fish fried popcorn shrimp and fried coconut shrimp it came with fries and three different dipping sauces again small portions and the bill came out to about $30 without a tip [Music] on another occasion I ordered the Cheeseburger in Paradise platter after all this is Margaritaville the uh fries were just like a small handful the burger was pretty good though I have to say but again everything was overpriced so the verdict on these two Boardwalk restaurants here at Resorts Hotel and Casino Margaritaville overpriced small portions L Shark Bar had an awful experience but they’re going to be reopening and it’s going to be new and improved we’ll have to check it [Music] out next up is East Wind Chinese restaurant enjoy the great selection of classically prepared appetizers Entre and delicious ious bowls of noodle soup in an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere also up front here is Masashi sushi bar just steps away from the Atlantic City boardwalking casino floor micashi Delights guest with traditional Japanese sushi and sushimi that pay homage to this Century old culinary tradition hey guys if you’re enjoying the videos here on the New York Channel and you haven’t towards the back of the casino here at Resorts is a very nice food court pretty much anything you could ask for [Music] I’ve ordered pizza at Familia Pizzeria several times and it’s uh not bad it’s not the greatest Pizza in Atlantic City that’s for sure usually sometimes soggy a little bit overpriced and U never comes out really [Music] hot Ruby’s dinette however here at the food CET Resorts will never let you down I’ve had several meals here all good from Burgers to fish and chips to cheese steaks never been let down by this place if you’re on the boardwalk looking for a late night meal or even staying here at Resorts and looking to bring something up to the room or just eating here in the food court this place is open pretty late and serves up some really good food [Music] just a couple of the meals I had here at Ruby’s dinette include this awesome bacon [Music] cheeseburger it’s even got onion rings on it that’s a vegetable making this healthy [Music] [Music] I remember this particular night I ordered up some fish and chips here at Ruby’s dinette I was working hard editing videos up in the room it was like 1:00 in the morning I came downstairs ordered up some fish and chips uh it was three nice pieces nice nice fillets of cod I believe it was Cod uh crispy on the outside juicy and tender on the inside extremely hot I woke up with a sore roof of my mouth the next morning but it was really good the fries were good they served me the uh little packets of cocktail sauce like you get at McDonald’s like those little packets of sauce it was horrible but I just uh drizzled some fresh lemon on top and I really enjoy this fish and chips meal hey if you’re watching this in planning a trip to Atlantic City whether it be pleasure or business make sure you check out
