so amazing like I can’t imagine Japan has this kind of landscape like I only see Tokyo oaka but this one is really a m visit place you love nature like me mountains landscape this is the perfect place like [Music] speechless who would have thought that I’m in an active volcano right now so I finally AR Drive in ASO and it’s located in kushu the best way to get here is to fly to Kumamoto or fukoka and take a train to ASO station but since I cycled all the way here I canot give you some tips about it I arrive in the center of asso It’s a small and quiet City located in Kumamoto prefecture they have many onsens around here and there’s only one back backer hostel in this area but this time it’s fully booked so I stay 12 km away from the station once you arrive at the train station there’s a Tourism Center there where you can ask for information the bus ticket is also located at the train station so I just bought a bus ticket here going to the crater they have different bus stops starting from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. you have an option if you want to drop at kuseri volcano Museum where jump off for hiking is located or go to asosan Sano terminal where you need to take another shuttle to the crater the last bus from the museum to ASO station is 4:35 p.m. and a 1-day ticket pass cost around 1,500 Yen or 600 for one way ticket so I took a bus and arrive at nak the Creator you need to monitor first the status of the Creator on their website before visiting now I’m about to begin so I just SED this to a bus station it’s really nice like they were able to make this road so I think I’m going to go to that side and let’s see what’s in there I only have 30 minutes here oh they have like souvenir in here but there’s no vendors you just have to put your money so this is just an honesty store there’s just a 10minute walk from the bus going to the crater and I was glad to see this in closeup ASO is considered to be the largest Calera in the world and the largest active volcano in Japan the last eruption here was in 2021 in 2016 sometimes they close it due to poisonous volcanic gases lousy WEA or the RIS of volcanic activity but I was glad to see it is en closed out you can really see the lava in here I think the last eruption here was way back 2020 I’ve never seen something like this before and was mesmerized by its beauty after spending 30 minutes at the crater I took a shuttle back to the museum and had breakfast at the trail head for the hiking like this is very accessible why it’s very touristic because everything is accessible but everyone can enjoy this landcape they have tourism office um most of the time they have buildings in here where you can buy food snots they have store here so you can just rest for a while buy some souvenirs and there’s a line here and it’s very organized they have schedule so all you just have to do is study it and just go so yeah I’m just going to go now to the museum and have a little bit of checking and let’s see there are many pigs around the volcano but the most accessible ones are the two pigs here I chose the easiest one to Li I think that’s the way going up so let’s see it seems not too steep but right now there’s no one in here it’s just me most stories are on that side and I think it’s a little bit too late but it’s still 2:00 p.m. hopefully I can do this in 2 hours and then the hike to EV I don’t know if I pronounce it right is a 4 km distance and takes about an hour the trail head is relatively easy with no other hikers during my time there currently I’m hiking here in kushu going to aosid and so far it’s all flat but right now it’s going to be a su I think I think the total elevation of this is just 270 so far it’s the only thing I can do for limited amount of time it’s really safe to hike here I hope I can do this in my country they have signes around so you won’t get lost I also downloaded GPX file there’s some sleeping reports on the incline so be cautious and I reached a peak all by myself the panoramic views from the top where breath from the mountains to the view of the crater and everywhere I look it is just so amazing I spent half an hour to the top appreciating the beauty of the surrounding and taking a lot of videos as [Music] well oh my gosh everywhere I look it’s really worth it now I need to go back and if you have plenty of time I highly recommend exploring the other pigs this place is truly B and I’m sure you’ll be amazed by its beauty too I returned by bus from the museum to the train station and bought some food for the next leg of my journey yeah I’m here right now at aidon wasaki and I’m going to try their famous aidon so if you go here it’s like a long line and it’s like 50 minutes away from Kumamoto and they have this Famous Steak um It’s Made of beef with egg and Rice Bowl so I think it’s going to be worth it cuz yeah let’s try it out M so I think this is like a steak so they said it’s made of a miso sauce that has a long history [Music] some sweet sauce made with some soy s m sauce so I am currently trying the AUM mosu so it’s just across the street around the restaurant so this one is around um 10 km away from the ASO station so they have this soft ice cream with a syrup of made of potato I think it’s cold right now like 7° but I don’t care potato potato so this one is made of potato Syrup love it yeah today I decided to be just a tourist when did you arrive here in Jaan yeah oh long time ago two months yeah wow so you’re on a break huh break now yeah I’ll be spending two nights more in h before I prepare next for the next leg of my journey so that’s all of what happens see you in my next adventure bye
