i went to hiroshima japan to find people who hate america because 77 years ago america dropped a nuclear bomb and destroyed the entire city but to my surprise and this was shot i didn’t see a single person who hates america or americans none instead i saw american corporations mcdonald’s starbucks i saw kids learning english at school i saw nuclear attack survivors who are promoting peace on the streets and they don’t have a grain of hate for america i don’t hate the orderly america and i even saw a museum dedicated to peace not war i asked the local people why don’t you hate america and what they said has stuck with me for years they said peace will never flow from hate that’s one minute see you tomorrow

As an American, I've visited that museum. It's extremely sobering. Seeing the untouched rubble outside encased in glass and the other exhibits inside, I was shocked. Filled with mixed emotions. Watching the Japanese school children being led by their teacher and chaperones, everyone being quiet. I expected to be singled out but it was like nobody payed attention to me. I can't answer for the actions of my forefathers but I can protest the further use of those weapons.
Japanese people are great. They seem very loving.
