  1. I was worried and disappointed when you made us believe they wouldn’t play the Sanfurawa song- but then so happy to hear it! 🌻 🎵 ❤

  2. Hi STJ – love your videos, they're helping me a great deal to plan a visit to Japan in October. Can you please advise if Kurenai is the new permanent vessel for this route? As far as I can see, the Sunflower website only list the Satsuma and Kirishima, so I'm not sure which ferry I'll be booking. Looking forward to your next video!

  3. You were in the shop, why didn't you buy some snacks? You know how much you eat. One pack of butter cookies before dinner and one after. 😒

  4. I rode the Meimon Taiyo ferry from Osaka to Shinmoji port. That's a really fun ferry too. I was able to park my bicycle with the cars.

  5. Not a lot of passengers on the ferries which is a shame as they are beautifully done. Are they mainly cargo ferries with additional accommodation?

  6. I love to go around singing the sunflower song know full well that nobody knows what the heck it is 😂 only the cool kids know

  7. Ok $198.00 USD for a 15 hour trip and the meals are not included. No wonder you dont see other passengers. Now I see why you dont do anything else besides eat and walk around the ship. Well the view is spectacular anyway.

  8. I find your videos super relaxing but I am dying to know why we never see other people…..are these ghost ships? Do you make arrangements to film before others board? Well done concept in any event….i look forward to watching your other videos. Thanks……..sunflower…sunflower…da dum da dum dum

  9. Greetings from Denver, Colorado, USA. You are my hero and inspiration. I love watching your videos. Educational and calming. ❤😊

  10. Doing my third sunflower trip from Osaka to Kagoshima next month then taking a Kanko Densha and from Oita to Kobe to return. After that I head back on a Green car to Tokyo.

There are always people on these ships. How did you film without any?

  11. I have seen multiple videos of Sunflower overnight ferries about multiple times but that one was still my favorite by far and I really loved buffet food is great.

  12. I sought out this video because it’s been a while since I heard the Sunflower song. 🚢🌻🎶😁❤️

  13. Perhaps I haven’t been watching long enough to know if this question has already been asked and answered, but after you take the ferries, how do you get home? Thank you for the lovely videos❣️

  14. I was surprised by the small bathroom in your "First Class Deluxe" cabin. For that grade of cabin, I would have thought a large bathroom, with a tub and a window with a view.

  15. it is not the sun that protects you, but the creator God. He is the creator of the universe and earth, nature and everything that lives 🙏🌻🌼🌷🪐🌟🌠🌈🐸🐲🐞🐼🐇

  16. Miso soup was an acquired taste for me. It came with every set meal I got at the customer café on during one of my early trips to Japan. I enjoy it now. About the only thing I disagree with you on is your love of curry. It's OK, but not something I'd go out of my way for. About the only things I really don't like are uni, unagi and noto. Uni, sea urchin, was something I grew up with. My cousins and I would walk to the end of our road to the ocean and get uni and small snails. Uni was eaten raw on bread with a little lemon, YUCK! I've tried it many ways in Japan too, I think it's more the texture that I dislike. The snails were steamed and we'd pull out the meat with a pin, yummy.

  17. They should give you a huge discount for promoting their service. Many of us will use them when we visit Japan if we can.i know i would. I really enjoy your trips
