[Music] hey guys today we in Tokyo Station we are planning to explore the Tokyo local Town compared to several days ago temperature gets warmer however it’s a windy day today 23° wind is 8 m per second even it’s a windy day because it’s warmer so I don’t feel cold however you know because of the strong wind my hair always becomes mess so it’s not a perfect day for filming but that’s okay reason why however after the golden week I thought this place will will be much fewer people however as you can see still so many people enjoying the maruno square toosi Ginza arcade is a popular Street for the street food so hope we can enjoy the street food over there today I want to explore and introduce local part of Tokyo so firstly we are heading to the O imag station and we can walk to toos shinas so let’s enter the station o station is located in South part of Tokyo we will use the K to which is the blue one over there it is a five stations it take about 13 minutes from Tokyo Station oh yeah right on time this is a train we need to take seems like it’s not that crowded so let’s fight on if you are heading to the hamat station where you can take the monol for the Hana airport this is a train also you can use here we go we arrived to O ma station oim station is a big station from here to toosa it takes about 30 minutes by walking so let’s keep walking this o IM much station is also known for the hor racing Place horse racing place in Japanese called from Tokyo Station to oach Station it cost 178 Japanese we need to go west but let’s check East first there is a at Which is popular department store inside the outlet there are so many restaurants Hamburg steak ton KATU Sushi SOA tempura pretty much everything and also there is a big electric appliance store yamadai that’s interesting now let’s walk to the West oh there’s a dink Kai line compared to the other line this D Kai line is more expensive however it is really convenient from this o much station going to eisu Shibuya Shinu also going TOA too one thing we have to be careful is that it is not the Jr line so even you have the JR Rail Pass you cannot use this line though I knew that o station is a h station however I didn’t know that such a convenient station in front of the station there is a Hu department store bus stop and also which is the really popular supermarket store in Japan oh my goodness can you hear the song usually there is a bird sound when the traffic light is green but this is a really classic version I was born the racing oaka and the that song is really popular in Osaka I think all the traffic light song and that wait but we are hearing the bird sound too so maybe they’re using the both it is so nut gushy is a big Supermarket it’s more like shopping mall usually located in the countryside of Japan there are Ace floors from Supermarket to clothes shop drug store and also restaurant as well oi is more town for the family so it is really convenient for family so let’s keep walking toward to West in this arcade seems like there are many old shops there look at that shoe store yeah it looks like pretty classic one let’s V beside the train track o much station is next to shinagawa station so if you want to take the shinkansen you can always take the shinkansen from shinagawa station plus it’s the convenient place going to the Hana airport too so we’ve seen so many airplanes here it is really convenient place but uh if you live here probably you will hear a lot of airplane sound though oh this traffic Glide Shiki this kind of traffic light if you don’t touch it will never change so you got to be careful we go oh this must be the shagawa Chen which is the shagawa Central Park uh seems like they are having some event I think they are having some event for kids there are so many families there’s other small Park too on the side oh there’s a running truck and also soccer field seems like they have kind of big event over here huh speaking of the rent as you can assume around this area it is popular for family so rent is expensive many s man working in sh gawa and this is this place located in next to shinagawa station so that’s why it is convenient place and it is really popular too if I were the S man who has family working in Tokyo I want to live around here too as long as you don’t mind for the airplane sound this is a really good place now we are walking toward to the residential area ah interesting can you take a guess what it is is that’s a local public bus seems like it’s a bigger Onan compared to the regular Onan there is the first floor to sou floor public bus and they change it monthly so that you can enjoy the different kinds of on Price is only 520 Japanese in for and out that’s a good deal huh I of the airplane compared to O ma station it is residential area there are so many houses around here so we are almost at to to Arcade but I don’t see the store yet let me see ah it’s a local unagi shop that looks good oh that’s a local sofa restaurant they have Katon and also tendong and the temp temp is 800 Japanese that sounds good and also they have the it is the Mochi inside that tastes good too if you love Mochi you can try this CH well I visited so many soba and UD places but recently I’ve never seen that cha udong that’s interesting sounds like a local place and after turn in this place must be the to will oh that’s over there all right here we go the arcade start but wait it is Sunday why there are such a few people over here I don’t there are so many people around here maybe we haven’t reached to the main part so let’s keep walking ah interesting they there’s a small tiny Shrine over here now we see more people oh we found the first store seem like they have the manatu why not let’s do it it’s a local me store oh they have the Manu but oyster too why not let’s order the oyster sweet there is a place to eat in front of this St too maybe we can place the camer over here here we go looks pretty good and there’s the oyster inside all right it must be good it’s like the cream stew and the oyster inside nice oyster flavor pretty good and also it’s super easy to eat as well now seems like more people becoming long line price was 220 Japanese and thinking about as a street food I’m loving it all right so let’s keep eating H interesting seems like they have deserted it’s a unagi IMO M soft interesting I have no idea what it is because unagi is a freshwater e and imemo it’s a sweet potato so I believe this one as a muman sof serve looks pretty good but still arade has just started so let’s keep walking and find the restaurant there are so many International Travelers in Tokyo Station however here almost local if you want to enjoy the local atmosphere with the local food this toi G as recommended oh there’s a barber and the cut price is only 980 Japanese Yang that’s pretty good price and I believe we are getting closer to the main per because there are more and more people all right so let’s keep walking oh this place looks like more arcade Shen guy ah interesting look at this store they have the hon North po melon pan but it looks like the soft Ser I’m not sure let’s try it oh seems like we can’t use the cam so let me go and get it sweet I got the special permission and I can show you how it looks like inside there are so many small breads all of the bread is packed one by one so it is clean too they have the regular melon pan too oh my goodness this lemon cake pretty good too but you know we have so many stores so let’s try the hka melon pan and H C melon Pang is over here all right here we go let’s eat melon Pang is my favorite bread and it’s like a fruit sandwich it must be good yeah I think this angle better because of the lighting anyways so let go here I side it is a melon Pang it’s a cookie and there are whipped cream and Frozen fruits because of the crispy melon Pang and the Frozen fruits with whipped cream I feel like that I’m eating the cookie ice cream with fruits Jey well melon p is the really popular bread in Japan and the one with the best bread from Japan so if you never tried melon P definit Tre you got to try that speaking of the Japan school system usually we have the lunch from the school until elementary school but after you become the junior high school and the high school student you need to either bring the lunch box or you can buy it at the store melon P or Yak P which is the fried noodle bread two of them are really popular so it always sold out because it’s so popular it is a [Music] hard there is a duck okay never mind so whenever I want to buy the popular BL I had to run to the store after the cross finished yeah there was a competition so sometimes we could sometimes we couldn’t yeah that’s that’s [Music] C but now we don’t have to fight anymore though so the price is 400 Japanese that was pretty good I always love the local bread store okay so let’s keep eating oh there’s a Tako Yak shop tea oh there is another takoyaki store eight takoyaki 390 Japanese y oh interesting that’s a onil shop they have so many different kinds of onil rice bowl and also the car a too one price is about 330 Japanese y they have the English translation as well nice what else we have oh that’s Dango Moi store let me see what they have oh that’s interesting they have the chocolate Moi and also the mango but they have the sweet ring paste inside this W looks pretty good too but seems like number one popular one is thisi so why not let’s try this there’s a place we can eat too here we go so that’s one of my favorite Mochi mitashi Dango mitarashi Dango is one of the popular Mochi in Japan they use the mitarashi sauce which is a sweet soy glaze but the regular mitashi Dango is there is a moi and a soy gra sauce outside however this one there just sweet ripping paste inside as well that’s interesting let me try it is incredibly soft outside a little bit salty soy sauce flavor inside nice sweet rubbing paste and the Moi itself very tender as well I loveing it we have the popular word am meaning sweet but a little bit salty and this is exactly what it is plus 220 Japanese if you never try Moi definitely you got to try it well no wonder why it’s really popular all right so let’s keep walking oh my goodness from this restaurant smells incredibly good oh they have the pork Bowl cooked with chocal no wonder however it will makes me full with this one bowl I believe so maybe next time if they had the skewer style food definitely I would B it though and that’s a Taiwanese food oh that’s a recycle shop we used to see many recycle shop in the town but recently we haven’t se the recycle stores though because we usually buy it on the internet even the second hand too so that’s nice and local book store too yes we used to see so many bookstores in the town but recently yeah yeah we all B it at the internet so right now really few oh here another recycle shop uh that’s yakin Nik restaurant all you can eat price is 3,289 Japanese and 420 minutes that’s a good deal yeah probably when people refers to the toosi Ginza they mean around this area not the entrance area though oh there’s a SI area too it’s gone from OA now but we still have and the too if you never heard of this siia it is a good and cheap Italian restaurants but we have so many nice street food around here so maybe there are a few of people I believe uh from this Chinese restaurant smells really good oh they have the two go food which you can make it as the Bento they have the marel duu 420 Japanese Yen and also Suba 500 Japanese Yen and ab 500 Japanese Yen looks pretty nice and smells good seems like it continues more and more around this area it becomes like more town there is a loon and also the CI coffee as well oh no wonder there is a big street maybe that’s the reason why by the way if you’re coming over here by the train directory that’s the station Asaka Line toosi Station also there is a toosi Ginza station too but I believe Asaka line will be easier since we are getting closer to the station now we see more chain restaurant now we start see the fany shoe store and and also a Jingo story too the population is totally different as well so if you visit the toosi Ginza arcade don’t forget to visit until the end because there are many nice shops over there too ABC Mark and also K Ki matuya which is a beef ball store like Yosh and 7eleven yep right we are in Tokyo oh so that’s the toosi Ginza station if you are coming over here by the train and using the toosi Ginza station you will get here so probably we are almost at the end of the arcade there was a grandma just talking to me in Japanese she was 93 years old and living here over 60 years she was really friendly and pretty nice as well yes this place had the local atmosphere well I really enjoy the town’s atmosphere loving it it’s this supermarket around this area there are not that many street food restaurants more like you know regular arcade oh interesting it’s the wagashi Japanese sweet shop and also local economy Miaki and the teaki shop they have the Hiroshima okonomiyaki which is the okonomiyaki Hiroshima style pric is only 850 Japanese that’s good deal huh seems like it’s a classic restaurant sweet maybe if we get deeper we will find more local restaurants oh so I guess this is the end of the arcade and there’s a tayak shop that’s interesting this is not the regular taaki they have the okonomiyaki style and also the hirim as well that’s interesting I guess I get to try it let’s eat Hiroshima Fu taaki all right here we go it’s so weird well it is a taaki but smells like okonak so I feel like that I’m eating okonak sweet oh my goodness smells pretty good well no offense but it’s much better than what it looks like to be honest when I see it at the first time I was expecting okay okonak however actually it has the really nice sauce flavor there is a egg bacon and a pancake outside well it is different compared to the okon Miyaki to H very interesting taste but mayonnaise really good with yakis soat fried noodle price is 270 Japanese thinking about the price pretty good at one thing you have to be careful is that it is kind of hard to eat but maosi it is entertaining too I was born racing oaka okaki is the OA so food however I prefer the Hiroshima style if you try eat the one I definitely recommend you to try this Hiroshima style taaki though it is the OM taaki I like name of the story too after we finished the toosi Ginza arcade seems like it becomes a regular Town let’s walk toward to North suddenly it became so many tall apartment it is only one street away over there I felt like I’m not in Tokyo but now I remember that we are almost close to the yamot line station so totally different huh interesting from here to gotanda station it takes about 20 minutes by walking let’s see if we can find something interesting on the way seems like nothing special here let’s walk in the back street there’s a small Park and small train over there now we are in the gotanda area since Tunda station is in the yamanote loop line and also Southwest part of Tokyo so this is also really popular area for living probably you may heard about rongi dama eisu those areas there is a big English speaking community over there so that’s the also reason why it is popular and the place to live it’s more expensive this gotanda area is located in outside of yamanote loop line however if it becomes inside of yamanote loop line rent will be so expensive yeah I believe so much more oh look at this apartment it looks very classic there are just so many tall apartments now you know how we deal with the crazy population of Tokyo H let’s see the view from higher place so if you keep right going to shinagawa and if you go to Left arriving to Nashi sorry nihombashi and this is the street that we are walking from the reason why this place is more popular is because I believe there is a highway exit or entrance so it’s convenient someone who drives usually in a big Street in a big town there is a sign like this but it’s only in Japanese so I’m wondering if this will be the English translation too in the future because usually those sign we have the English translation too probably we will see the river and after crust the river gotanda station is over there even it’s a really popular station but uh I never been there I believe Town’s atmosphere has changed now before it was only the apartment but now we have more stores so I believe gotanda station is almost there that’s the T and the sushiro oh wait I think that green one is yamot Loop LLY but we haven’t seen the river yet where is it never mind this is the river and gotanda station is over there I said this is my first time to visit gotanda station but it’s wrong this place is familiar yeah now I remember that I made a video that biking all the yamanote Loof Line stations yes I biked around all the yamanote loop Line stations and the gotanda station in that time I come over here so that’s why this place is familiar so that must be the gotanda station of yamanote loop line because you see the train in front of you the green one that’s yamanote Loop Line’s color and I remember there were many stores beside the river so maybe we can explore the rivers side yep it’s over there oh there’s a discounted vending machine do we have something interesting oh look at that ble milk never heard it before I know the butterbeer but what’s butter milk it doesn’t sound great but why not let’s try so seems like we can pay it by the e- money let me pay it with paypay I don’t think it’s working oh my goodness I just have 550 japanes however this 500 Japanese is new or coin because there is a circle in site right it’s been a while after they publish it and there is a new bill is coming too however they don’t accept the new 500 Japanese and coin they don’t accept the e- payment and they don’t accept the new coin we got no way that we can try the butter milk drink well maybe next time when we find that butter milk drink we can try but sometimes this kind of situation will happen and there are new bill coming which is 1,000 Japanese y and the 10,000 Japanese y wine after they start using the new bill this kind of situation will happen again more and more so you got to be careful if you Vis in Japan oh yeah this is the street that I was talking about there are small stores around here gotanda is popular place for Sal man so there are many places that you can eat and drink there is a tachinomi bir too oh so I assume this is the main street of gotanda yeah it does look like the gotanda station I mean you know around the big station the town looks like this there are many business hotel around here so I believe some people are taking a hotel around this station go down the station it looks like this but also one thing that that I realize is that seems like there are not that many International Travelers around here there are many local people here though how about in The Other Side East exit of gotanda Station East exit of gotanda station compared to the west side seems like it’s more quiet though there are many Kar stores and hotels if you are coming here Tokyo metros asak Saline this is the station that you will arrive oh there is a donkey hotel too they have the beer 190 Japanese y That’s a opening sale that’s good deal oh I guess around this donkey Hotel area it became like the red light district oh and around this area seems like many hotels I see the logo of Mitsy Garden Hotel over there so I believe if you take the City hotel it will be around here oh my goodness look at the restaurant over there it’s the ramen restaurant but already there’s a long line let’s go to the Riverside so that it will be more quiet gotanda Riverside Station what do we have around here well seems like nothing though oh maybe over there we have something but by the way yes we got another SI area Japanese Italian restaurant seems like this place used to be the drinking street but uh it looks like closing though maybe they opened it in the late night time oh probably that was the wrong side but seems like still many restaurant is closing too though that seems like nice Yori restaurant and a nice restaurant here too here’s so many chain restaurant Osaka Chinese restaurant sh Japanese fish restaurant and also neishi beef T restaurants and Kua plus hakaya and nakau which is a beef ball restaurant like yosa and also we have theak one person Yak too Yak oh we got family M let’s grab the cafe L but we got another family M over there too over there family M and over here family mode yeah that looks like Tokyo let’s get is [Music] latte all right let’s go uh now we can go to the river station oh what’s that gotanda Hills seems like there are so many small bar inside ah this place perfect let’s place the cam over here all right so that’s perfect I got only 300 Japanese but thinking about the price taste it’s pretty good I loving it so speaking of too shinza I thought there will be more troublers and it is more popular for international Travelers as well however when I visit there kind of makes me supplied because there are not that many International Travelers over there so if you have visited Japan many times and if you have
