are you planning to visit Lake kawaguchi soon and wondering where are the best places to visit to take that perfect photo with the wonderful M Fuji in this video I’m going to share with you all the places we visited but before we jump into that I just want to recommend that you check out my part one video of the M Fiji series as I’ll be sharing how we got to like kuchi from Tokyo where we stay on a budget check that out if you haven’t already my friend rain and I had this grand plan to visit eight locations in the one day so make sure you watch till the end to see if we can achieve it and I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who likes to have like a chill day when you’re traveling because we are photographers and videographers and since M Fuji’s out we thought we wanted to make the most out of our day and go to as many places as possible and take as many photos and videos as possible I hope after this video you get a sense of what it’s like to visit some of the places and you get to pick and choose where you want to visit before our trip we actually wanted to hire a car and drive ourselves around Lake kawaguchi but then we thought to ourselves since we’re here and the sun sets at 4:30 it’s probably not wise to do so because we are restricted with time and also we don’t know where to park and we don’t know our way around around and all the signs are in Japanese so we thought it’s probably a better decision to hire a driver and that’s what we did we hire our driver for the entire day because we had to check out of our accommodation we actually had a place to store our luggage and we didn’t have to like stress about it we didn’t have to carry it around or anything like that I’ll leave his details here actually but the only thing is that he only speaks Chinese and very thankful to have rain with me because she was like my translator for the day because he lived near Tokyo he was able to drive us back to Tokyo at the end of the day our first stop is the famous laon apparently this area is getting too busy so they have decided to put like a black curtain around it which is a little bit sad because I think a lot of people are being disrespectful around the area they are parking illegally and you know everyone’s jaywalking trying to get that perfect shot for Instagram and I am feeling very blessed that we actually got the opportunity to take a photo there so I’m just going to show you what it looks like there was like a queue there I can imagine it to be like busy the entire day and can be very disruptive for the locals there so with our next stop rain wanted to take a photo that is similar to this so in order to get this shot you had to catch a train from Lake kawaguchiko Station down to shimi Yoshida station it is the last stop of the train line we tried our best to get the shot unfortunately we didn’t get to take the exact photo but we still were able to take some really pretty photos regardless so we got our driver to meet us at shim Yoshi station he was patiently waiting for us there and from here you normally can hike up to the pagod the charot Pagoda is a fivestory structure and to reach it you will have to climb 400 steps to the top the view is rewarding rain and I were very overwhelmed here actually cuz there was just so many people everyone wants to have that photo with the pagot and M Fuji in the background and it feels like everyone’s like fighting for that one spot so we felt really overwhelmed and honestly it’s not one of my favorite places to visit I highly recommend you go to a different spot we visited Lake Cuchi during the Autumn season and we had hopes and dreams of seeing it against Mount Fuji but sadly when we were here specifically at this location it has been blown away by the wind so fingers crossed that we’ll be able to see it in the other location for our next spot we wanted to visit shimi Yoshida hono Street which was a couple of minutes from where we were but because we were running behind on time we decided to skip it completely and head to our next spot our next stop is the mimii carridor also known as the maple Corridor this spot here is supposed to be very vibrant with all the autumn colors but when we were there a lot of the leaves were still green but good thing is if you do walk along the lake you will see maple trees with really luscious red leaves and for a unique experience you can hire a swan boat and you can go out into the waters and get a different perspective of Mount Fuji there but the time we got here I do have to say that the lighting is a little bit harsh because it was above us I was still happy with the photo that we captured it is a popular area so it was quite busy with a lot of tourists there although this place is a little bit busy you can still get a beautiful view of Mount Fuji everywhere you walked and at this point I was feeling like super blessed that it actually came out for us and I have visited V Fiji a couple of times but it’s nothing like the view at Lake Cuchi it just feels like it just feels like it’s right in front of your face you know and and I feel like being there I could stare at it for hours and not get sick of it at all it was just so beautiful I really wish we were able to stay here a little longer but we had to make some time for our next location which is T you nor Tor and for this spot here I found it on Instagram and of course what you see on Instagram isn’t exactly what you see in real life and that’s what we discovered when we got there it is actually smaller than we expected the Tory gate was built on private property and in order to take a photo with it you had to pay 100 yen so you had to get to kawaguchi Asama shrine and from the shrine it is a 30 minute hike when we got there the line was really long it looked like it was an hour away so rain and I were really contemplating whether we should even spend our time queuing up for this photo since we already made our way here we were like okay let’s just queue up and when we were queuing up we realized that we only have 3 minutes to take photos and videos amongst us meaning we only have 1 and 1/2 minutes each for the sh which is fair I guess because the queue is so long there is one person there monitoring the queue and she is strict I tell you like she will put the 3 Minute Timer and it will go off after 3 minutes honestly if you have limited time at Lake Cuchi I wouldn’t recommend this place at all at this point we’re starving so we’re going to head to our next spot at oi Park this place honestly has really good vibes the only down for is that obviously another popet spot it is actually really busy and there are people taking their preing photos here a lot of like local tourists and what I like about this place though is that it has a lot of facilities like if you need a toilet break honestly he’s the place to go you can buy like food and drinks and we went to the store and bought ourselves some bowels for some reason I don’t know whether it’s because I was getting tired the bowels fell off my hands as I was walking off with them and I can still remember it in slow motion because like at that point in time I was starving and like I was like so looking forward to eating these bows and like I can like see them slowly falling off my hands and I couldn’t do anything about it and I think the guy who sold me the bow felt really bad for me because I think he saw how devastated I was so then he was like look let me give you another bow and I was like yeah okay like cool but I was happy to pay for them but he was so nice that he gave it to me for free and I was like oh my goodness like Japanese people are so nice it’s something about another human being’s generosity yeah it made me feel really grateful and happy yeah so we ended up eating the bows they were delicious but I did go back for another one so we here because of the I don’t know the plants they were supposed to be red but when we got there it turned slightly Brown so I don’t know whether in the photos that we’ve seen that it has been photoshopped or anything like that to make it look bright red I have a suspicion that it probably was but we had to cut our time short here because we had to head to our next destination and our next spot was going to take us an hour and 15 minutes and the sun was setting at 430 and we couldn’t waste any more time here so we had to jump into the cast rad away and head straight there I was really looking forward to visiting this last spot and I’m so grateful that our driver was able to get us to this spot in the nick of time this is fujian Yo ASI I couldn’t believe it there’s actually not a lot of people around it’s not a touristy area and so far away from everything look at the view it looks like Mount Fuji is sitting on top of a bridge and you know for a photographer or videographer the best time to capture an image or video is during sunset and honestly Mount Fiji lit up and has pink Hues through it feels like a dream come true so this spot here is located at the end of the bridge I’ll try my best to pinpoint the spot on Google Maps and leave it in the description below and I’ll also link the other locations in the description as well this by far has to be one of my favorite locations out of the entire day and if you do have time on your hands or you if you do decide to rent or um rent a car or get a driver I highly recommend you visit this place it’s been such an incredible day and we feel so blessed to be able to experience it I hope you’ll be able to experience it for yourself as well but now it’s time for us to head back to Tokyo and get ready for Disneyland so if you haven’t seen my video I have shared some tips here that’s all for me for now stay curious fam and I’ll see you in the next video
