all right made it for the subway station now it’s time to catch our next train which is this one the abito heading that way so far in Osaka we haven’t seen any temples or anything it’s a very industrial city very modern but now we’re getting close to uh dobur we just got off the train so we’re going to be going this way crossing over and then making our way to the uh the heart of Osaka some could say the reason why many people come here you can also see they have these like incense holders here so you make offerings or prayers and you place them in front of the deity and you say a prayer and they they Grant it for you across we go and lots of the streets and uh the areas here in oaka are these huge covered Pavilions so no matter what the weather you can come and find you know your favorite restaurant play crane games you go do whatever you want yeah do karaoke there’s so much to do here it’s a very active active City that’s why people say compared to Tokyo it’s like very much livelier you know a little bit more like fun based so to speak for activities people to do and partaking it’s very different all right so this little area as the pillar says this is this is henji this little henji alley this Old Stone paved alley there’s a Temple down here you see a really pretty old Temple we’re going to go look for that take this little Narrow Street and this is a lot of places we’ve been in Japan are like this just little narrow streets with so much happening that you wouldn’t know if you didn’t go down them and explore them let’s see if we can find this nothing cranny is utilized yeah everything there nothing nothing goes to ways let’s see if we can find this little Temple here on heni alley might be there we will see this is a little henji Temple you can make offerings wow all coi’s written in English here so you can see these little temples they do offerings of incense to the temple beautiful little space omii our prayers are written in English and they’re hung up in the temple for good luck you can make offerings here which I’ll be doing over there and then place them in the incense or light a candle in front of the deities one a bunch is in there but the door is closed amazing little areir such a cool little Temple hidden here on this uh Street in doour like I said if we didn’t if you didn’t don’t turn down these little alleys you wouldn’t be able to see them or know they were here yeah so here we go make a little donation then we’re going to light these incense over here on the candle so you light the incense with a candle then you take the incense over to the spot there place your incense down oh there so much there’s so much burnt incense in there like when you push it down you can feel how thick the is you know yeah I feel like most of the ash if not half of the ash is the incense and then one of the cool things about this oeni Temple is the deity here so purification water you can Splash it on the deity and over hundreds of years it’s covered the entire deity in Moss so the whole deity you can’t even see anymore it’s just completely covered in Moss how beautiful is that yeah so beautiful there an amazing area over here but it’s D and look you got a little Temple cat up here hanging out watching the show so beautiful yeah so this is the uh heni Temple beautiful little area here in do andori and now we’ll continue on our way toward the uh City Center I love this how cool is that that beautiful just hidden over here yeah I love that just like coverage in M because of who many knows how many years of people making offerings to the D it’s magical beautiful Temple and then now on the dobur all right now we’re heading into the madness the main street of dobur oh they the octopus there oh yeah they have the uh takoyaki and okonomiyaki on the main road a whole different world here compared to You Know Places we’ve been recently like India I mean so whatever they’re selling they have it on these big posters or like carvings on the walls so you can see here the that’s a guoa shop and they sell tapu Yaki over there which are like octopus or squid balls some and then fried food over there as well see right here there’s the Indian restaurant too look on the flag of India here in Japan where we just were oh look at this was on camera that’s so funny so cool what a random feature to have on the billboard that’s awesome fun I like it so awesome all right what a different world it’s amazing how many unique places there are okaka especially all right in the middle of the crowd now it’s getting quite busy cuz it’s the afternoon but this is the IU Bashi Bridge huge bridge over one of the rivers here inasa so once we get up where we can see the water we’ll show you wow crazy beautiful so much Happ active as can be but then again once you once you’ve been to India for quite a while you’re so used to the crowds that you don’t really even notice it but look at this River View wow look at that babe that is the river so beautiful whole city right over the river so this is basically the the heart of Doon Bor here in Osaka where everybody comes to see this beautiful City built right along the uh the river hereo man’s pretty famous too been there for decades in different forms yeah it’s kind of like if you’re from the US kind of like Chicago where the whole City’s around these Rivers activ us can be very different than a lot of places we’d be in what we like we like going toat places taking them in really viewing it all huge of people in here big crowd so many people so this is the shin saashi suji like the uh walking area from the main station down here and again very very busy area this is like the busiest place in in Osaka yeah this is definitely the the uh heart and soul of the busiest areas of Osaka super unique very creative I find places like this just as interesting you know as there a nature in some ways just its own version of it oh is there oh wow yeah you’re right a TI flag oh yeah perfect that’s awesome of course see a tii flag that’s great a very interesting place to see if you are in Japan especially if you’re landing at the airport here by aaka you got to stop for a few days which is what we’re doing Ryan’s taking it all in it’s interesting cuz a lot of places they’ll have just malls America’s malls Thailand’s malls India has malls but Japan has lots of these just covered Walking streets like open air yeah open air streets cars can come through like that just make their way so it’s a different uh different approach to shopping than what we’re used to but it’s yeah pretty much just it’s turning a whole street into a you know shopping plaza for those who have things they need to buy or want to yeah shinai Bashi we’re heading back to our place now it’s not too far away but it’s nice to walk through it on the way back and uh see what’s around the area all right escaped the uh chaos yeah the madness chaotic pretty busy but look how quick we’re one we’re one street off now of dobur and then look it’s just back to regular life not that busy it feels a lot less busy this main intersection and now we’re walking through the uh last neighborhood on our way back to our place it’s called America Mora so I guess that’s where there’s lots of American fashion even though it wasn’t even really our style to be in with but no very very American inspired so we’ll see what that uh looks like and then make our way home been walking around since 10: a.m. since getting tired and Ryan fell asleep in the cart so I’m to go relax and recover cuz tomorrow is going to be a big Temple day we’re going to be visiting aaka castle and a lot of awesome temples here in the area around Osaka yeah that’ll be so fun that’ll be more of our Pace I think well beanie oh yeah that’s kind of cool beanie we’re trying to find the ryini cuz the weather’s a little cooler here it’s chilling hope we can find we just got we just left and it was 105ยฐ yeah we went from 105ยฐ down to like 60 70ยฐ so it feels very cold much colder than what we’ve been used to the past month or two for the rest of the trip need rocket though thanks tons of small little popup shops all over this area very cool definitely a great place if you want to go shopping yeah if you’re into buying new clothes Osaka is the place for you but that’s kind of what it’s known as you know it’s more known as like a like a Party City compared to Tokyo which is a work City Osaka is for partying fashion faster lifestyle and when you get to Kyoto it’s more temples shrines a little bit slower so it’s good to experience both though we landed on this side of the country so we figur we might as well spend a few days here and really see what it’s about experience all of it look around look at this how busy this is over here so much happening like we said whatever they sell here whatever restaurants they have like mascots or Representatives outside so the takoyakis Have octopus so funny and each one has a different one but I think for today that uh kind of wraps it up we’re getting close to our place we’re going to go back now on wine relax until dinner and as always we’ll see you guys next time in the next video when we go explore some beautiful castles and temples here in Osaka we’ll see you then thanks for coming rum rum see you later
