Hi everyone! Normally I just film things for personal memories but may as well share. This is my 4th time in Japan, so I wanted to visit some old favourites and do some things I’ve never done before. Yes, there is a skip in the day and yes I do notice that double spacing error in the caption. If you have any questions, feel free to comment and I’ll try my best to answer them. Hope you enjoy

Live video flying to Japan Headed to Japan with my sister for 2 weeks (but more like 12d, minus travel time) This will be my 4th time in Japan Bye Canada! We wanted to go to Meguro River to see the cherry blossoms but… They were late this year… we saw these blossoms though! Since Starbucks is beside Meguro River, we stopped by for breakfast The croissant was so flaky! I was able to get reservations for the Kirby Cafe So we took the train over to Tokyo Skytree to window shop before our reservation I woke up just before 4am EST a month prior hoping to reserve a spot I swear they were all gone within 2 minutes; you can’t dine here without a reservation The interior and vibe were very cute You get one free random coaster with a drink order (RIP Kirby’s face) I got the Whispy Woods plate and my sister got the Waddle Dee omelette rice The presentation was definitely 10/10 We did lots of walking so we’re heading back to Ginza near our hotel We arrived ~30 min before they opened and waited about 1.5h total? It was pretty good but was it worth that long of a wait? No… It was warm and sunny this day Great for strolling around I was surprised so many people were here this early There were a few cherry blossom trees here Not too far from the shrine was this park headed for Imperial Palace It’s a 30-40 min walk to get to the other side towards Tokyo Station At Tokyo Station! Character street in the station Quick dinner before I ended the day It was really tasty and for the price, I thought it was really good This place is famous for their 18-dish breakfast, which you have to reserve The flavors are mild and subtle – not a bad thing I actually saw "Little Canada" first being featured on TikTok, which is like small worlds So when I saw there was a similar one in Japan, I really wanted to go It costs Â¥2700 ($23.98 CAD) for a ticket The amount of detail was insane Some exhibits had buttons you could click, making it interactive A train would fly by or maybe a figure would start moving around My favorite display – I love miniature food! Explored around Odaiba a bit, then headed back to Ginza No videos allowed here. I enjoyed these but pricey for what they are Make sure you book a reservation here, you most likely won’t be able to walk in For an added cost, you could make it AYCE It was quite hot inside, the ventilation wasn’t great – you’ll just have to crack open the door The beef was so tender! The sesame sauce (my preference) made it extra rich Unfortunately it became cloudy as we were passing Mt.Fuji If you can, reserve a seat on the right side of the train and you might be lucky We arrived pretty early but our check-in time was 3PM We stopped by to drop off our bags though This shrine was right outside our hotel with pretty cherry blossoms! Very peaceful. A few people came by to pray No, I’ve never tried [incoherent] Not sure who asked or what they asked (lol) Mid-day on a Monday and Dotonbori is already so busy So many gachapon machines! Not as many as Gashapon Ikebukuro Main Store in Sunshine City though I could NOT leave Osaka without having takoyaki If you’ve never had it, it’s an ooey, creamy ball with a chewy piece of octopus – yum Dessert time! So many options at the convenience store Back to the hotel we go The Osaka train system is a bit confusing because there’s less signage compared to Tokyo We had timed entry into Super Nintendo World and lines to get into the park were so long We were like running to make it on time They were denying entry into Super Nintendo World if you didn’t have timed entry But we’re here! Magical We had fast passes for the Mario Kart ride slotted for 9:00-9:30 By the time we finished, the wait was 2h The ride was maybe 2 minutes long? I enjoyed it a lot There was no timed entry for Harry Potter world so it was PACKED Lunch break @ the Shake Shack I wanted to visit this shrine, so we made a quick stop It was quite busy despite being pretty small Unagi for dinner! It was rainy all day today, so we stayed around the Shinsaibashi area We went to Shinsaibashi Parco and Daimaru Shinsaibashi – which are connected I have no footage but I’ll show you some photos We had tickets to teamLab Botanical Gardens Thankfully it was only drizzling Though the rain definitely added to the ambiance Enjoy the visuals and sounds (or skip to 12:47) I’m kind of sad there was no merch store I would have loved a miniature version of these light up eggs Remember to reserve in advance, tickets do sell out I would say it’s only worth coming if you have the premium pass Going to Valley of the Witches! Some merch sells out and won’t be restocked during the day, so keep that in mind You’ll need to buy tickets to go on the rides Inside Kiki’s bakery This was Sophie’s hat shop There was no cameras allowed inside the buildings The amount of detail they put into recreating the spaces from the movies was amazing! Howl’s Castle was SO amazing (which is my favorite Ghibli movie) This was Mononoke Village A little bare… There was about a 20 minute hike to get to Satsuki and Mei’s house We did go but I have no footage Now we’re inside Ghibli Warehouse (timed entry) Tons of photo ops inside (but the lines were long) Arrietty’s room The details! Going to bother my friends man Hey… hey… how y’all doin Exhausted after a full day… Onwards back to Tokyo This room smelled like flowers! I went to Borderless back in 2018, when it was in Odaiba So glad they bought it back I was so tired the first time I went, I didn’t explore the whole exhibit There was one room where the floor was completely netting You had to lay down, kind of like a hammock, and the art was projected on the ceiling If it wasn’t for the children bouncing, I would have been dead asleep (lol) I reserved the first time slot, so it wasn’t super packed So bright in here, I think this was my favorite This famous exhibit everyone LOVES (it’s cool I guess) See, now this is cool – though it’s a bit dark in here… Kind of reminds me of a galaxy Water vapor art?? Tried coloring the jellyfish as Calcifer He’s alive! So cool This place is massive and so overwhelming – we did some damage here So much stationery supplies here Ok woah music slow-mo but the sticker selection?! They have a Capcom store, Jump Shop and Pokémon Center on the same floor No Lolly or Punchy sadly Ending the day with sushi I recommend you get off at Kita-Kamakura station So you can visit all the temples before the famous Komachi-dori shopping street It’s very peaceful here Snack break before we walked to the beach – no videos but I have photos This was ok… This long street (Dankazura) was lined with cherry blossoms Worth the hype? Yeah, as long as you don’t have to wait over 30 min And ending the day with night cherry blossom views I really am not in vlogger mindset because I have no video clips of my final days So enjoy a photo diary instead Another 2 weeks in Japan done! It was such an amazing time – I want to come back already Hope you enjoyed the video! See you in the next one (whenever that is)
